Elon Musk’s adorable toddler stole his thunder at President-elect Donald Trump’s pre-inauguration rally Sunday night.
The billionaire came on stage to tout the changes he plans to make to the federal government as the co-head of the Department of Government Efficiency with X Æ A-12 (pronounced ex-ash-ay–twelve), four, by his side.
As Musk spoke, his enthusiastic son was seen jumping around and waving his arms.
‘Little X just followed me on stage here,’ the 53-year-old Tesla founder explained to the adoring crowd.
‘He’s a very enthusiastic supporter as you can see.’
Musk then cheered, raising his arms by his side as X stared out at the crowd, his mouth agape.
Soon, the little boy raised his own arms in victory.

During his brief remarks, Musk promised to shake up the federal bureaucracy with his new DOGE agency saying ‘we will do great things here.’
‘This victory is the start really,’ he vowed, as X continued to jump up and down, grabbing his father’s attention.
Musk went on to say the goal of the new agency is to ‘Make America strong for centuries’ and, of course, to ‘Make America Great Again.’
The SpaceX CEO has previously set an ambitious goal of cutting federal spending by $2 trillion in the coming years from a federal budget that hovers at around $6.8 trillion.
However, he seemed to adjust that target last week.
‘I think we’ll try for $2 trillion. I think that’s like the best-case outcome,’ he said. ‘But I do think that you kind of have to have some overage. I think if we try for $2 trillion, we’ve got a good shot at getting $1 [trillion].’
To help meet the goal, the department has already hired about 50 employees, and is aiming to get 100 employees in the coming weeks.
It has called for engineers to apply, but when two Democrats asked to join the department they were promptly rejected.

Norman Eisen and Virginia Canter, an ethics official for Barack Obama and an attorney for Bill Clinton, respectively, were pointed to a Truth Social post by the president-elect for further explanation.
‘President Trump’s Truth made clear we have no room in our administration for Democrats,’ Katie Miller told the New York Times.
Miller appeared to be refer to a message of ‘out with the old, in with the new’ sent by Trump that named and shamed many of his former Cabinet members while honoring his new administration.
Almost everyone named in that missive was a Republican or a person who worked for Trump during his first term.
He wrote: ‘As of today, the incoming Trump Administration has hired over 1,000 people for The United States Government. They are outstanding in every way, and you will see the fruits of their labor over the coming years. We will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and it will happen very quickly!’
Trump then advised any hiring managers that ‘it would be helpful if you would not send, or recommend to us, people who worked with, or are endorsed by’ a list of anti-Trump Republicans ‘in order to save time, money, and effort.’
He specifically named 11 different Republicans and first-term Trump employees, many of them coming with nicknames, concluding that they and many others suffered from ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome.’
Eisen and Canter say they have now launched a nonprofit in an attempt to keep an eye on DOGE called the State Democracy Defenders Fund.
They wanted to work as ombudsmen for the DOGE efforts to prevent potential conflicts of interest.
