Ellie Leach has discussed the impact that Strictly Come Dancing has had on her physical appearance.
The Coronation Street actress, 22, admitted in a new interview, that she can ‘see her body changing’ due to the intense dance training.
Ellie also praised the BBC competition, and her pro partner Vito Coppola, 31, for giving her a ‘newfound confidence’ after previously ‘really struggling’ with body image.
The actress – who played Faye Windass on Corrie – explained how she has lost weight after never having ‘done much activity before.’
However, Ellie insisted that she and Vito always have snacks at training sessions, so she is ‘definitely eating.’

Ellie told The Sun: ‘Body confidence is probably something I’ve always really struggled with.
‘As a young woman and growing up in the public eye as well, it’s been amazing, but it’s also quite intense, and there’s always eyes on you, everything that you do.’
The actress then gushed about how ‘great’ she feels wearing the sparkling Strictly costumes with her hair and make-up done by show professionals.
Ellie continued: ‘Strictly has given me a newfound confidence that I’ve never really had before.
‘We train nine till six every day. I’ve never really done much activity before, so I’m seeing my body changing… I think the physical activity side, I can definitely see the impact it’s having.’
It comes after Ellie and Vito continued to fuel romance rumours as they declared their love for one another on Friday.
With the former Corrie actress and Italian dancer aking to Instagram with heartfelt tributes, following claims their working relationship had ‘turned personal’.

It comes after a source told The Daily Star that the duo’s relationship was ‘bigger than what the camera captures’ with the sparks between them not going unnoticed behind the scenes.
Telling the publication: ‘Vito and Ellie’s connection is more than dance showmanship. It’s turned personal, heartfelt, real. There’s a unique glow around them in rehearsals, a palpable warmth’.
Vitto gushed in the video: ‘Just THANK YOU. Sorry for repeating the same thing more times but this is the only way I have to show you all my gratitude and How thankful I am’.
‘One year ago when I moved here to the UK I couldn’t imagine that I would have feel so loved. Thank you thank you thank you very much’.
Then in a special message to Ellie he said: ‘And to you my Lulu… I am so proud of you and you know how much I believe in you’.
‘Just keep working hard as you are already doing every day. You are doing great baby. Have a good rest tonight and make sure you eat properly. See you tomorrow for another beautiful day together’.
