Elizabeth, 58, and Damian Hurley, 22, stepped out in style on Thursday in the midst of the promo trail for his directorial debut, Strictly Confidential.
While headed to The One Show, she looked incredible in a silver Vampire’s Wife dress while Damian dazzled in a sleek ensemble.
The mother-son duo stepped out shortly before Damian spoke to The Guardian about the movie and the widely-discussed sex scenes in the film – which he directed with his mum involved in a lesbian clinch in front of the camera.
Despite their professional candour, he was very firm in revealing he would never discuss his own love life with the megastar.
In a somewhat shocking twist, when asked if he discusses his own sex life with his famous mother, Damian exclaimed: ‘No! Not in any capacity, no! But we’ve always been very open. I was never lying about where I was going.’

Damian admitted he has never had to rebel against Elizabeth due to her attitude, saying: ‘One only rebels against a dictator and my mum was never that.’
Speaking about his Austin Powers star mother’s acting prowess, he said: ‘She’s fearless. She brings a sensuality to the screen that not many can, and she’s devoid of self-consciousness…
‘I’ve been on set with her since I was born, and she has always been able to compartmentalise. Whatever else is happening, she goes into this zone where she just ‘is’. Great actors can do that.’
When asked about the sex scene, he said: ‘It’s understandable that people are startled. I mean, even the thought of your parents having sex is beyond horrific.’
His interview comes after he appeared alongside his mother on The One Show, where Elizabeth said that starring in intimate scenes in Strictly Confidential was ‘comfortable’ as ‘she had been filmed by him since she gave him his first camera’.
The actress said that she was first filmed by her son when he was ten and had been ‘filming her ever since’. She said: ‘He wrote sketches and initially little baby films and gradually go up to making bigger films.
‘I always said I’d be in his first film, and because he filmed me so much, and because I often force him to take photo ops of me all the time, it just seemed like nothing. It was a very low budget film. It was just like do it and knock it out and get going.’

Damian and his mother attended the film’s screening in London on Wednesday night along with Liz’s ex Hugh Grant
Damian added: ‘This has been such a whirlwind. It was so amazing. It was really amazing we had tons of family and friends.’
Talking about shooting the film’s steamy scenes, which includes Lesbian sex, Liz said: ‘Everyone knows it’s not actually sexy to shoot any kind of intimate scene. It’s just technical. And we’d rehearsed it. Damian made it so comfortable. It was nothing.’
Liz was joined by her ex Hugh Grant at the film’s London screening on Wednesday, donning a racy green sequin dress.
Damian has defended his decision to direct his mother in the film’s racier moments, and revealed they didn’t even have an intimacy co-ordinator on set.
‘What was really nice was that in the audience for, for my all friends and family, was that every single person has known him since the day he was born’, said Liz.
‘So to see him do this..it felt really nice.’
She added: ‘I think it was the most nervous I’ve ever seen you [Damian].’
The production wasn’t without its hiccups though, with the mother and son revealing that they had trouble shipping in the costumes to the film’s shooting location in St Kitts and Nevis.

Damian revealed that his ‘male godfather’ was forced to smuggle in 80 bikinis after they were stopped by customs.
Damian said: ‘This was about a week before we were meant to be shooting. I think about 80% of our costumes got denied entry at the border and were shipped back to the US.
‘There aren’t really any costume shops. There’s no infrastructure there for a movie.
‘So I persuaded my male godfather to fly about hundred costumes in, smuggled them in the suitcase and everybody wanted their bikinis.
‘So my godfather was standing there and was like ‘of course these 80 bikinis are mine. What are you talking about? So they made it.’
Asked whether that was Hugh, he replied: ‘He’s not the bikini smuggler, but he is a godfather.’
The mother and son also revealed that several of the film’s costumes got stuck at customs in St Kitt’s and Nevis, leaving Damian’s ‘male godfather’ to smuggle them in, including 80 bikinis
