Houdini is set to bed released on November 9 at 11pm GMT and can be pre-ordered now.

Dua rose to fame with her debut album, Dua Lipa, and her latest album, Future Nostalgia, which just surpassed 10 billion streams.

She is reportedly putting the finishing touches to her ‘really personal third album’.

The pop star has spent hundreds of hours in the recording studio in between sections of her world tour.

Dua hopes to release new music before the end of 2023 and her record company bosses are desperately trying to ensure recordings for the highly-anticipated LP are secure after a song she previously worked on with Pharrell Williams was leaked.

A music insider told The Sun: ‘Dua’s third album is really personal to her and she has been hands on at every turn.

‘She has spent hundreds of hours in the studio and has written on every song — that is really important to her.

‘Dua has been very clear about her direction in keeping it upbeat and fun, but she will be a lot more revealing in her lyrics.

The source also hinted at collaborations in the album as ‘talented artists’ have been asking to work with her.

The source said: ‘She has spent hundreds of hours in the studio and has written on every song — that is really important to her.’

Speaking last month to the publication, Dua said: ‘It has a lyrical theme, more so than sonically.

‘There’s still a sonic element as you go through it, it’s still pop. I still want to dance and do another crazy tour.

‘It’s a bit more mature [than Future Nostalgia] I think in terms of the experiences.’

Dua’s second album was released in March 2020 after being brought forward by one week following leaks online.

The album is made up of 13 tracks, including popular hits Don’t Start Now and Levitating – which Dua is currently being sued over.

She enjoyed huge success with her 2020 hit but a band called Artikal Sound System are seeking to claim the profits from the track because they believe she has ripped off their 2017 reggae single Live Your Life.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, the band believe Dua and her team heard their song and came up with a carbon copy in Levitating.

Although they haven’t explained why they feel that is the case in the lawsuit, there are similarities in the sound of the two songs, particularly the choruses.

Artikal Sound System have also named Dua’s label Warner Records and others as defendants and are seeking any profits made on the song, plus damages.

Future Nostalgia in March 2021 won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album and its lead single Don’t Start Now attained critical success, including Grammy noms for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.

The highly-anticipated Future Nostalgia tour was postponed several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but finally kicked off in Florida last month.

The tour is set to conclude in November in Perth, , and is being produced by Ceremony London, promoted by Live Nation and sponsored by Truly Hard Seltzer.

The tour will also feature Megan Thee Stallion, Griff, Tove Lo, and Angèle as supporting acts.
