A panicked Nick Jonas stopped his band’s concert and ran off stage while making a ‘time out’ sign mid-show in Prague on Tuesday.

It’s thought he bolted off the stage when an audience member pointed a laser at him, causing him to feel terrified.

The singer appeared extremely panicked after noticing the laser in a video shared by a fan, as he ran off stage while making a ‘time out’ sign with his hands.

His brothers Joe and Kevin remained on stage before also leaving, soon followed by the entire band.

Fans in attendance for the show in the Czech Republic claimed the show was stopped for several minutes after the laser incident before the band retook to the stage.

The video begins with Nick seen sitting on a chair on the stage ahead of a song, before he abruptly stands up.

He appears to look at security guards as he speeds towards the stairs to get off the stage.

As he runs off he repeatedly makes a ‘time out’ sign with his hands before picking up speed and running out of sight.

None of the band members have discussed the issue or mentioned it on social media.

Fans took to social media to share their concern for the band after the video was widely shared.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans wrote: ‘That’s scary! Safety should always come first. It’s unsettling that someone would do that during a concert. Glad Nick took precautions and hope security handled it quickly,’;

‘Genuinely why would someone do this and ruin the show for everyone,’;

‘Safety always comes first, and Nick Jonas made the right call. No artist should ever feel threatened while performing. It’s a reminder to respect boundaries and prioritise everyone’s well-being,’;

‘Music was always something that was around us,’ Joe said in a February interview. ‘Our father pretty much plays everything. He’s always singing. So it’s just kind of natural for us to pick up an instrument and start songwriting together,’ he added.

While working under their initial management, the Jonas Brothers released four studio albums and appeared in the Camp Rock Series.

In 2013, the band split due to ‘creative differences’ and a ‘deep rift within the band’ leading to the members pursuing solo careers.

The brothers made amends in 2019, surprising fans with the release of new music after growing individually during their time apart.

Joe, Nick and Kevin were honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2023.
