The former Nickelodeon actor Drake Bell is accusing the dialogue coach and actor Brian Peck of sexually abusing him when he was a minor in an upcoming docuseries.

Bell is set to appear in Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV, in which he he will speak out about being sexually abused when he was just 15, according to Business Insider, which was a producer on the Investigation Discovery series.

The former child actor, now 37, was a popular star on the kid-themed network in the late ’90s and 2000s, during which he co-led the series Drake & Josh and appeared on The Amanda Show, which starred the troubled former actress Amanda Bynes.

Peck, 63, worked as a dialogue coach on The Amanda Show and the sketch comedy show All That, and he was convicted in 2004 of sexually abusing a minor.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Nickelodeon for comment.

In a short clip from Quiet On Set, Bell makes a brief appearance at the very end, though he does not speak at all in the video.

He is seen walking onto the shadow-shrouded documentary set and taking a seat in a director’s chair.

Bell looks directly into the camera as the lights go up and the music swells, but the video ends abruptly then.

Actors who worked on Nickelodeon shows, including All That’s Giovonnie Samuels, are seen reacting in shock as they appear to reference Peck’s history of sexual abuse.

Bell was a supporting actor on The Amanda Show from 1999 to 2002, and Peck worked with the actors during that period.

Later, Bell graduated to co-headlining his own series, Drake & Josh, which he starred in with future Oppenheimer actor Josh Peck.

The series ran from 2004 to 2007.

In August of  2003, Brian Peck was arrested and charged with nearly a dozen counts related allegations that he had sexually abused an unnamed minor.

Peck subsequently pleaded no contest to performing a lewd act with a 14- or 15-year-old and to oral copulation with a minor under 16

According to Business Insider, Bell is now revealing that he was the anonymous minor in that case.

Peck received a 16-month prison sentence after his conviction, and in October 2004 he was ordered to register as a sex offender.

In 2015, DailyMail.com revealed that Peck was still working on Disney show and a high school–set horror film despite his conviction.

He was only prohibited from direct contact with children, which allowed him to still be hired in other capacities, even on projects significantly featuring children and teens.

Court documents obtained by DailyMail.com at the time revealed Peck had visited the minor actor at his home for acting coaching when he abused him. He was arrested after the young actors parents called the police.

Peck eventually pleaded no contest to two counts of the original 11 charges after the other charges were dropped.

He has continued to have minor acting credits and worked as a dialogue coach throughout the 2000s and 2010s. His last credited acting appearance was in 2018, according to IMDb.

It’s unclear if the people hiring Peck knew that he was a convicted sex offender, though his IMDb page lists his criminal conviction.

Quiet On Set will explore the toxic working environment children and teens were subjected to while working on Nickelodeon shows in the 1990s and 2000s.

The four-part series is expected to specifically focus on shows run by Dan Schneider, who created the popular shows Drake & Josh, Sam & Cat, The Amanda Show, Victorious, Zoey 101 and iCarly, as well as writing and producing several others and even occasionally appearing as an actor.

Child actors and crew members previously spoke to Business Insider about disturbing sexualized scenes that Schneider wrote for some of his series, and he alleged urged his young female stars to wear revealing clothing on camera.

The showrunner was also accused of repeatedly requesting massages at work, according to a 2000 gender-discrimination and hostile-workplace lawsuit from a writer on The Amanda Show. The suit was settled out of court.

Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV airs on March 17 and 18 on Investigation Discovery.
