Donald Trump’s campaign trolled President Joe Biden’s worst moments from Thursday’s debate with an ad video compilation.
The one-and-a-half-minute video said that whatever drugs Biden took for the debate ‘didn’t work.’
Trump’s 2024 team and allies said for weeks before the debate that the President would take some sort of illicit substance to remain alert – and Rep. Ronny Jackson said Biden spent his seven days at Camp David before the showdown to get the drug cocktail correct.
A general consensus was reached among Republicans and Democrats that Biden didn’t just lose the CNN-hosted debate in Atlanta; he bombed.
So much so, that much of the conversation in the fallout Friday morning centered around whether the Democratic Party should move to find a new candidate before the convention in August.
Meanwhile, Trump’s uncharacteristic restraint shocked viewers and some speculate it could swing independent voters to his side.
Trump’s team was quick to release a video compilation of some of the most embarrassing and awkward moments for Biden.
‘Needless to say, the drugs didn’t work,’ Trump War Room wrote on X.
Biden tried to downplay the claims he would taking some sort of performance enhancing drug by posting before the debate a picture drinking a custom ‘Secret Sauce’ drink.
‘I don’t know what they’ve got in these performance enhancers, but I’m feeling pretty jacked up,’ Biden wrote on X. ‘Try it yourselves, folks.’
The president’s account shared a picture of Biden holding a can of specially labeled water, featuring the ‘Dark Brandon’ meme. The can reads ‘Zero Malarkey’ and reads ‘Get real Jack, it’s just water.’
The campaign put the cans of water on their website, offering supporters a souvenir can for a donation of $4.60.
The first big flub for Biden came less than 15 minutes into the debate.
The President strung together several nonsensical statements and stutters and appeared to lose his train of thought when talking about national debt, going to COVID-19 and ending with: ‘And we finally beat Medicare.’
‘Well he’s right, he did beat Medicare. He beat it to death,’ Trump capitalized on the moment.
