The jury in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ trial has asked to revisit key evidence related to the alleged sex-trafficking of Cassie Ventura.
The disgraced music mogul, 55, could spend the rest of his life in prison if convicted of sex-trafficking and racketeering.
On Tuesday jurors asked for testimony transcripts related to the 2016 InterContinental hotel which was featured in the video aired on CNN in 2024.
They also asked for transcripts related to an alleged incident after the Cannes film festival in France where Diddy allegedly threatened Ventura with the release of sex tapes if she didn’t have a Freak Off.
The jury requests came after Judge Arun Subramanian was terse with Diddy’s lawyers while working on the wording on a response to the jury’s note from Monday evening.
The note asked if a person could be convicted of possession with intent to supply narcotics if another person asked for the drugs.
According to the judge, the defense proposal referring the panel to all of the instructions about possession with intent could cause ‘confusion’ and ‘mislead the jury’.
Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo objected and said that he didn’t think that even this idea ‘goes far enough’.
The judge snapped: ‘It doesn’t matter if you think it goes far enough. Can you do what I’m asking or do you not want to?’
