Denise Richards has reportedly claimed the home she once shared with ex Aaron Phypers was ‘severely damaged’ by her estranged husband and his family.

The Bravo star, 54, submitted photos of the Calabasas mansion allegedly left ‘in disarray’ as evidence into her ongoing divorce from Aaron, according to Us Weekly, which obtained the images.

‘Aaron and his parents and brother have severely damaged the [home] and left the house in a state of disarray,’ the outlet reports Denise saying.

Speaking to Us Weekly, a source close to Aaron denied Denise’s claims that the Phypers family damaged the home or left it in ‘disarray’.

The source further alleged the family had actually heavily cleared up the residence in the time since Denise vacated the home in 2023.

The photos shown to the court depicted various rooms with clutter strewn about.

The photos show two rooms with clutter strewn about, as well as a third picture capturing apparent damage to the floor.

Us Weekly described the floor as ‘torn up’, but the source told the site that the Phypers were currently replacing the floors.

The home has been an issue of contention for the exes amid their bitter divorce, which has seen Denise accuse Aaron of physical and emotional abuse (allegations he denies). She was granted a temporary restraining order against him last month.

Earlier this month Denise filed to temporarily vacate Aaron and his family from their leased Calabasas home.

In her legal filing obtained by People, Denise asked the judge to order her ex, his 83-year-old mother, father, and brother out of the home for eight hours so she can retrieve her dogs and belongings.

‘If I am not able to [retrieve] my dogs and belongings, I believe my dogs will be harmed and my property destroyed or discarded during the eviction process.’

The RHOBH alum was ‘shocked at the condition of the home’ having moved out of the ‘severely damaged’ abode over two years ago, and she stopped paying rent last December.

The landlord – who’s made several attempts to contact Aaron over unpaid rent – informed Denise on July 24 that eviction proceedings would begin on August 23.

Aaron was home on August 3 when Denise arrived to their home unannounced to retrieve her dog, according TMZ. He immediately left due to concern over the restraining order, the website adds.

Phypers’ parents let Richards inside and it was claimed she ‘barged in, demanded the dog’ and ‘screamed at his parents that they needed to get out of the house, putting her finger in their faces.’

Richards was seen being questioned by three Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies outside the home after they were called following her arrival, with police concluding ‘there was no crime committed and no arrests were made,’ according to TMZ.

In the March 4th premiere of Denise Richards and Her Wild Things, the Illinois-born beauty said of the property: ‘I don’t live in our house. Aaron’s mom and dad and his brother…they were gonna stay for a few months [but] it’s been over three years.’

Denise moved to a townhouse inside a Calabasas living community where rent typically costs between $5,700 to $6,700/month – according to The US Sun.

‘And then I rented another one and another one, so I have three of them,’ Richards explained on her Bravo reality show.

‘One’s an office, one’s a studio, one’s for [my daughters] Lola and Eloise and for us to sleep in, and then when Aaron and I want privacy, then we sleep in the studio, so we’re all over the f***ing place.’

The next hearing for the temporary restraining order is scheduled for September 8 at the Superior Court of California, and Aaron has denied all her allegations of domestic abuse and laptop stealing.

Aaron – who has ‘no income’ – filed for divorce from Richards on July 7 after six years of marriage and requested spousal support of around $105K/month.

The Return to Wickensburg actress wants the USC grad to pay her legal expenses and any expenses related to the alleged abuse, and she requested that he attend a 52-week batterer intervention program.

The ex-couple originally began dating in December 2017 before Aaron’s divorce from Desperate Housewives alum Nicollette Sheridan was finalized in 2018.

They wed in 2018.
