A public inquiry examining the death of a Dawn Sturgess, a British woman poisoned by Novichok in Salisbury, will open this morning.
Ms Sturgess died after she exposed to the chemical weapon which had been left in a discarded perfume bottle in Amesbury, Wiltshire, in July 2018. She was 44.
Her death followed the attempted murders of former Russian spy Sergei Skripal, 71, his daughter Yulia, 39 as well as police officer Nick Bailey, who were all poisoned in March that year.
