Dave Grohl is doing his best to remedy his Long Road to Ruin – with the rock star reportedly trying to win back his wife Jordyn Blum after he cheated on her and fathered a child with another woman.
The Foo Fighters front man, 55, blindsided fans when he announced his infidelity in a bombshell statement posted to his Instagram last month.
His decision to come clean was reportedly a ‘last-ditch’ attempt to repair his 21-year marriage to Blum, 48, with whom he has three daughters, after she gave him an ultimatum.
Grohl is now desperately trying to ‘divert his focus’ and ‘be there for Jordyn on the day-to-day things she wants.’
‘He thinks the marriage is salvageable so why not try to fix it?’ an insider told the DailyMail.com exclusively.

They said Blum, who admitted to not feeling like she hasn’t been his ‘number one’ in years, gave the rocker a final chance to try and repair their relationship.
‘She gave him an ultimatum to figure it out and he wants to regain her trust,’ the source continued.
‘He has to focus on her, that will be his best chance at getting back to what they had. Dave is focusing on her needs.’
The source added the Grohl initially chose to reveal his extramarital affair, with the intention of staying with Blum.
‘Revealing [his affair and baby] in the first place was his last-ditch effort to save the marriage, because Jordyn knew about it well before the world found out,’ they explained.
‘He would rather remain married.’
Blum reportedly asked her musician husband to put a pause on recording new music and touring so he can focus on his personal life.
Foo Fighters cancelled their set at Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut, last weekend in the wake of the scandal.
