The daughter of Brazilian weight loss influencer Mila De Jesus is mourning the loss of her mother who passed away of suspected cardiac arrest.
Anna Clara, 15, announced yesterday the death of her mom, 35, who passed away on January 12.
‘We appreciate all the prayers and condolences. Continue to pray for us Thank you,’ she wrote.
De Jesus leaves behind Anna Clara, her husband, George Kowszik, and three other children.

De Jesus shot to fame on social media after undergoing gastric bypass surgery on October 5, 2017.
She celebrated the weight loss anniversary by sharing a post with her nearly 60,000 Instagram followers. De Jesus described the surgery as a decision that changed her life – as she shared before and after pictures of herself.
The influencer posted photos and videos of Anna Clara on September 5, 2023 to celebrate her daughter’s 15th birthday.
‘What a privilege to be your mother my love, may God bless you and enlighten your life always,’ she wrote in the caption.
The Instagram post also included a photo of Anna Clara and De Jesus with one of the influencer’s sons.
The two videos in De Jesus’s Instagram post featured photos of a young Anna Clara, one of which being with her mother rocking matching black glasses.
A memorial for De Jesus will take place at a life center on January 19.
Since her death, social media users have posted heartfelt comments on the influencer’s tribute photo created by her daughter.

Brazilian influencer Flavia Calina called De Jesus ‘a very very special and very loved person,’ and wrote, ‘May God comfort your hearts!.’
Others have offered their support for Anna Clara.
