ABC’s Dancing With the Stars is heading into the home stretch, with the semifinals airing on Tuesday.
There are five pairings left – Danny Amendola and Witney Carson, Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson, Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong, Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten and Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold.
NBA star Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach were eliminated in sixth place last week to narrow down the semifinals field.
It remains to be seen how many of these dancing pairings will advance to the Season 32 finale, airing Tuesday, November 26 at 8 PM ET on ABC.
Fans were stunned when ALL FIVE of the semifinalists were revealed to be moving on to the finale next week.

Many fans pointed out that Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong advancing to the finals made them the first Black couple to make it to the finals in DWTS history.
The shocking no-elimination semifinals has fans in their feelings
While most fans were expecting at least one pairing to go home, many were thrilled that all five semifinalists were moving on to the finals. Many others, though were quite dismayed for various reasons.

Stephen and Rylee are up next, drawing a tango for their Round 2 dance. Rylee says he has an ‘advantage’ with the tango because of his ‘insane upper body strength.’ His twirls were so strong that it skewed his glasses, which Rylee removed midway through the dance.

Ilona said she has enjoyed the ‘graceful’ dances and wants this performance to be a tribute to what they built this season, adding she thinks she has a ‘friend for life.’ Derek thought it was a ‘stunning contrast’ from their first dance. Carrie was ‘honored’ to watch that dance and said she is ‘changing lives.’

Like they have all season, many fans called out Carrie Ann Inaba for her critiques. She was the only judge to give Chandler and Brandon a 9, after critiquing their footwork. Derek and Bruno both gave them a 10 for a total of 29 of 30.

Fans agree with judges that it wasn't Stephen's best performance
After getting a 25 of 30 for Round 1, fans agreed with the judges that it wasn’t Stephen’s best performance this season. Some thought Rylee shouldn’t have tried to make Stephen be ‘sexy’ and let him be himself.

Carrie and Derek both gave Stephen and Rylee 8’s though Bruno gave them a 9 for a total of 25 of 30 for their first dance, to close out Round 1.
Judges aren't totally impressed with Stephen
Derek thought the dance ‘got the best of you’ though Bruno thought he ‘captured the feel of the dance’ and he ‘worked very very hard’ but he had to work harder on hip placement and foot action. Carrie thought he went ‘a step back’ with the musicality.

Fans were not happy when Derek Hough gave Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong a 9, while Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli issued 10’s for their salsa dance. Many did not hold back their ire online.
