Dakota Johnson brought her superstar mom Melanie Griffith to the premiere of her new film Splitsville on Tuesday.
The actress, 35, and the Working Girl star, 68, made a glamorous duo as they posed together on the red carpet at the event, held at The Grove in Los Angeles.
Dakota — who dubbed the scrutiny of nepo babies ‘incredibly annoying and boring’ last year — wowed in a skintight sleeveless metallic gown.
The star — who is fresh off the heels of her seven-year relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, 48 — wore picture perfect glam for the occasion.
She accessorized with dangling earrings and a silver bracelet, and wore her dark tresses in a straight style.
While posing for the shutterbugs, she was seen with her arm sweetly wrapped around Melanie, who recently celebrated her 68th birthday.

Also in attendance was Reese Witherspoon’s and Ryan Phillippe’s daughter Ava Phillippe, 25.

Dakota grew up with Antonio Banderas as her stepfather and Tippi Hedren as her 95-year-old grandmother.
Her dad Don warned all his children they’d be deprived of their allowance if they didn’t attend college, so Dakota auditioned for The Juilliard School with monologues from William Shakespeare and Steve Martin.
Dakota admitted she ‘really didn’t want to go to college’ in a May interview with ELLE UK, but was dismayed at the idea of being ‘cut off’ by the Miami Vice alum and admitted ‘it was hard to make money.’
By age 18, Dakota used her famous name to easily sign with IMG for modeling in 2006 and two years later she signed with the William Morris Agency for acting.
‘There were a few times when I’d go to the market and not have money in my bank account or not be able to pay rent, and I’d have to ask my parents for help,’ Johnson lamented.
‘I’m very grateful that I had parents that could help me and did help me. But it certainly was not fun. The auditioning process, as you know, is the f***ing worst.’
The Independent Spirit Award winner noted that her mother ‘was the nice one’ when it came to hand-outs.

Dakota also has Melanie to thank for her big-screen debut, at age nine, in Antonio’s dismally-reviewed directorial debut Crazy in Alabama in 1999.
Before landing her breakout role in the Fifty Shades trilogy, Johnson first caught the industry’s attention as panty-clad Harvard University student Amelia in David Fincher’s 2010 drama The Social Network.
‘When [the nepo baby scrutiny] first started I found it to be, like, incredibly annoying and boring,’ the Daddio star scoffed on TODAY last year.
‘Like, if you’re a journalist, write about something else. That’s just, like, lame.’
In June, news broke that Dakota and Coldplay frontman Chris had called it quits after a six-year engagement.
A source previously told the Daily Mail that, at the time of their break-up, the relationship had already ‘been over for a long time, they just haven’t been able to figure out to make it official.’
Johnson, who appeared particularly sun-kissed in photos from Saturday’s festivities, has been spotted soaking up some rays in Ibiza this summer following the split.
In July, she was pictured lounging on a luxury yacht with actress Kate Hudson and former NFL quarterback Tom Brady. Around the same time, she was also seen alongside a mystery man in the island paradise.

Griffith, however, was reportedly attempting to reunite her daughter with Martin a source told the Daily Mail last month.
According to the source, Griffith thinks the break-up is a ‘huge mistake.’
‘She’s convinced that they are meant to be together and isn’t giving up on them. She thinks her daughter is making a huge mistake and needs to meet Chris halfway.
Griffith has four children from her three marriages: son Alexander, 39, who she she shares with ex husband Stephen Bauer; daughter Dakota and step-son Jesse, 42, who she shares with Don; and daughter Stella, 28, who she shares with Banderas.
