Former Playboy Mansion resident Jennifer Saginor has blasted Crystal Hefner for claiming in her new tell-all memoir that she was ‘trapped’ in her marriage to Hugh Hefner, as she accused the model of ‘playing the victim.’
Crystal’s explosive book, Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself, was released earlier this week, and in it the 37-year-old made a number of bombshell claims, including that she never loved the late magazine kingpin.
The blonde beauty also shockingly admitted several times that she felt imprisoned in their four-year marriage, which ended when he died, aged 91, on September 27, 2017.
Crystal’s claims, however, have been fiercely refuted by Jennifer, the daughter of Hugh’s personal physician and best friend, Dr. Mark Saginor, who believes that the former bunny ‘chose’ to stay with him.

Crystal and Hugh, pictured together in 2014, were husband and wife for just under five years
Taking direct aim at Crystal, Jennifer told DailyMail.com exclusively: ‘Take off your bunny ears. Stop promoting a brand and image that you are claiming to be a victim of. It is inconsistent.’
She continued: ‘She chose to be there and chose to go back. She is playing the victim card, and this takes away from actual victims of sexual abuse.
‘I was there for four decades, and she was there for seven years. Crystal knew what she was getting into. She got paid for her services.
‘She promoted the brand and is continuing to promote the brand. After she’s made millions of dollars, she has come out saying she was held against her will.’
Jennifer, who grew up referring to Hugh as her ‘uncle,’ spent her childhood at the infamous LA party spot and had a room of her own in the 29-bedroom mansion from the age of 12.
She has claimed that Crystal published several untruths in her memoir.
Crystal revealed that she used to ‘find girls’ for sex orgies with herself and the late magazine mogul during their marriage.
She described how Hugh liked to have ‘at least five girls’ at the same time when they would get intimate in the bedroom.

The pin-up, who wed the magazine publisher when she was 26 and he was 86 in 2012, wrote: ‘After the twins [Kristina and Karissa Shannon] were gone, it became my job to help find girls to come up to the bedroom at parties at the mansion, or on an increasingly rare night out.
‘It was a big part of the reason we still went out at all: for Hef to find fresh girls.’
She continued: ‘Sometimes Hef would point someone out. Other times, I picked. He liked to have at least five girls, and I knew what he liked. It was actually a relief to have other women up in the bedroom with me, to not have to be sexual with him all alone. If these other girls were doing it, then I didn’t have to.
‘And there were always so many girls eager for a turn in Hugh Hefner’s bed, sidling up to me at every party, desperate to be picked. I felt torn – part of me wanted to turn them down for their own good. But I also knew it was going to be someone coming up, so it might as well be someone who really wanted to go.
‘I trusted that as adults they were making their own decisions about their bodies, but I also felt a responsibility to make the whole experience exciting for them. Or if not exciting then at least not so awkward.’
Addressing the candid recollection, Jennifer said: ‘To admit that she recruited women to bring to Hef… she is admitting to putting girls in harm’s way and then profiting off this.

Jennifer, who grew up referring to Hefner as her ‘uncle,’ claimed that Crystal has told several untruths in her memoir
‘Crystal is trying to monopolize and monetize off a dead man who gave her everything that she wanted until he could no longer give – and now she continues to take.’
Jennifer previously spoke candidly about her father’s close relationship with Hefner and how she perceived them to be lovers.
Speaking in the Secrets of Playboy documentary, she said: ‘My father and Hef had a spiritual connection that I don’t believe any of these wives or girlfriends could ever compete against.
‘Their friendship was, like, next level. They were just like soul mates.’
Jennifer continued in the film: ‘They took things really far. They became more than best friends. They became [lovers].’
In her memoir, Crystal opened up about feeling imprisoned in her marriage to Hugh.
Crystal wrote in her memoir that it was ‘hard to imagine life without’ Hugh despite feeling trapped by him
‘I felt trapped in the mansion, trapped in my role as caretaker, but I also didn’t want to lose him,’ she penned.
‘He had been an enormous, outsize presence in my life. He loomed over everything. It was hard to imagine life without him.’
In a recent sit down interview with DailyMail.com, she revealed that she never had sex with her late husband alone during their marriage, which lasted from 2012 until he died.
The model also made it clear that she did not enjoy the group sex encounters with her husband and the other women.
Jennifer isn’t the only former associate of the late mogul to have called out Crystal for her memoir.
Kimberley Conrad, 61, who was married to Hugh from 1989 to 2010, also accused her of ‘making a quick buck’ with the book.
In a statement to TMZ, she said: ‘As a few people speak their version of their idea of events in hopes of riding a wave of headline relevance, and making a quick buck, we should all ask ourselves whether we want to live in an environment where people refuse to take accountability and use words loosely like “force” and “survive” to describe choices they made willingly at a certain point in their own lives.’
Crystal told DailyMail.com: ‘I recently welcomed Jennifer on my podcast, Beneath the Surface. On the yet-unaired episode, we shared stories about our time at the mansion. During our conversation, she said the opposite of what she’s now saying about me. Fortunately, I have a record of the truth. I wish her the best.’
