EXCLUSIVE

A female sex worker has been found dead at a unit in one of Sydney’s most historic inner-city streets, several days after she was last seen.

The body of the woman, who is believed to be in her 30s, was found at an apartment on Glebe Point Road, in the trendy inner-city suburb of Glebe on Thursday last week.

Emergency services were called to the unit after neighbours had concerns for the woman’s welfare amid reports of a bad smell coming from behind the door.

While the woman is yet to be formally identified, Daily Mail understands she was a sex worker using the professional name Bailey Summers, whose real name was Georgia.

A profile on the website of the Liaisons brothel, which is based in Edgecliff in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, describes her as a ‘Morgan Fairchild lookalike’ and lists her age as 25.

She is believed to have relatives in the UK who are flying to to make arrangements for her funeral.

It is unclear how long she may have lain undiscovered, but associates say she was teetotaller who did not use drugs.

It appears Bailey was last seen rostered on the Liaisons website on March 10, five days before she was found. Daily Mail approached Liaisons for comment.

Her listing at the brothel was removed in the wake of the tragedy but had flouted her as a ‘stunningly beautiful… platinum blonde bombshell’ who will ‘drive you wild’.

A spokesperson for NSW Police Media said on Wednesday that inquiries were continuing into the circumstances surrounding her death.

‘About 11am (Thursday 14 March 2024), emergency services were called to a unit on Glebe Point Road, Glebe, following reports of a concern for welfare,’ the spokesperson said.

‘On arrival, officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command located the body of a woman inside.
