A 43-year-old man’s body has been found outside a home in Kendall, on the NSW mid-north-coast, near the site where police believe William Tyrrell’s body is buried.
NSW Police said a woman found the man outside a home at Batar Creek on the NSW Mid North Coast with emergency services called about 6.40pm.
Members of the public performed CPR, however, he could not be revived and died at the scene.
Kendall – a small village of 1,141 people, not far from Port Macquarie – was the town where William Tyrrell, ‘s most famous missing child, went missing in September 2014.

Police believe the remains of missing toddler William Tyrrell are buried along Batar Creek Road, Kendall.
Detectives, SES workers and others made extensive searches along Batar Creek Road to locate missing William in late 2021.
Detectives from Strike Force Rosann, which is investigating William’s disappearance, have told William Tyrrell’s foster mother: ‘We aren’t guessing. We aren’t bluffing. We know how, we know why, we know where he is.’
The woman, who cannot be identified, has strongly denied any knowledge of the toddler’s whereabouts or any link to William’s disappearance.
There is no suggestion of a link between his disappearance and the latest incident at Batar Creek.
Officers from the Mid North Coast have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
