Stan Original series Love Triangle is set to rival Married At First Sight in the world of dramatic reality matchmaking as the show poaches yet another controversial Nine groom.
And it seems former reality TV star Sam Carraro has not let go of his ‘villainous’ ways as he made a whirlwind entrance—and exit—in the final few minutes of episode four.
Sam, 36, who had a failed romance with Coco Stedman on season eight of MAFS, this time found himself matched with ‘fiery’ Ariana who he initially ghosted within three days of texting, leaving her to choose her second suitor Nuri.
However, Sam attempted to redeem himself by showing up to the house Ariana, 29, shared with her new beau, 26, despite telling producers she was ‘not his cup of tea’ when he first left her on read.
Unfortunately, his shocking return to the experience lasted just under five minutes of streaming time when he immediately got into an argument with Ariana and stormed out with his packed bags.
Things got off to an awkward start when Ariana didn’t appear to recognise Sam when she answered the door.

‘I’m Sam. That was texting you earlier. When you were making the decision,’ he prompted in the cringeworthy moment as Ariana shook her head and gave him a blank look.
When she finally caught on, Nuri could be heard laughing from just behind the door as he was cooking in the kitchen. ‘The man, the myth, the legend,’ he shouted out.
‘I thought you f***ed off,’ Ariana said, clearly unimpressed with Sam’s decision to come back after calling it quits.
‘I did, yeah. Now I’m back to come say hi,’ he said before Ariana finally invited him into the home. ‘With the knife in hand. Look out,’ he added as he entered with his suitcase.
As the trio made awkward small talk in the kitchen, Sam asked, ‘What’s been happening?’ which prompted Ariana to reply with a snarky: ‘Some texting. Some replying.’
She continued: ‘You got to fill in some blanks here, man. I’m confused as to what the f*** you’re doing here.’
‘It’s part of the show that we’re on,’ Sam replied in a sarcastic tone.
‘Yeah, but usually you’d have to take part in the texting first. So, I’m a little bit confused I thought I wasn’t your cup of tea, doll,’ Ariana replied, to which Sam responded: ‘You weren’t.’

After some more back and forth about why Sam chose to ghost Ariana instead of just communicating he wasn’t interested in her, the MAFS star fired back with: ‘Have you never been rejected before? Is that the big problem?’
He then went on to explain to Ariana how the show works in a very condescending manner before Ariana snapped and told Sam he ‘robbed’ her of the opportunity to choose between two suitors.
When it was clear Ariana wasn’t going to back down from the fight, Sam decided to take his belongings into the spare room.
But while Ariana and Nuri were taking comfort in one another as they attempted to process what was happening, producers were left struggling to get Sam to tell them what was going through his mind.
‘I’m not saying anything. What do you want me to say?’ he said before turning on the cameraman. ‘Can you stop rolling mate?’
The following scenes then saw Sam grabbing his still packed luggage and pushing past the producers to leave the house for good.
‘I’m not doing this. I’m out,’ he said as he rolled his suitcase back down the road the way he came, leaving Ariana and Nuri stunned.
