Married At First Sight bride Sara Mesa has broken her silence after Wednesday night’s explosive dinner party.
A screaming match erupted between Sara, 29, and her husband Tim Calwell, 31, as the pair debated cancelled dates in front of the rest of the cast.
But on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Thursday, Sara admitted to host Kyle Sandilands that while her reaction was real, a lot of context in the show was edited out.
‘A lot of the conversations, you see ten per cent of it… Tim is a lovely guy,’ the nutritionist said.
After Kyle and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson pressed her on the couple’s sex life, Sara confessed that ‘it was the glue that kept us together, I’ll say that.’

‘Oh so you had good sex together? And that didn’t make you be into him more?’ asked Jackie.
Sara explained: ‘It was confusing for me because for the first few weeks I was very hesitant about how I felt about Tim and that was one of the concerns that wasn’t shown.
‘There was very little emotional connection on our honeymoon, conversations weren’t that deep.
‘I felt nervous energy straight off the bat. And I said to him, “I really want to get to know you before we jump into the affection, before we get into it”.
‘But I pulled back massively because I felt like I just wanted to get to know him, and… there were no good convos.’

During the dinner party on Wednesday’s show, Tim attempted to express how upset he was that Sara cancelled on a date he had organised three times.
However his TV wife continued to cut him off again and again.
So often was she seen talking over the top of him throughout dinner, several other contestants even asked her to be quiet and let Tim say his piece.
Sara ignored them all, continuing to get defensive until she called into question the dates Tim claimed she had cancelled on.
‘I felt nervous energy straight off the bat. And I said to him, “I really want to get to know you before we jump into the affection, before we get into it”. the MAFS bride recalled
‘He actually didn’t plan anything. He didn’t say, “We’re going here, we’re doing this.” He just said let’s do something on Sunday,’ she insisted.
Tim was visibly frustrated by this and quickly amended: ‘Nah, I was like, “You’re booked out from 2pm onwards, wear something nice”.’
After the couple cooled off and received advice from the other participants, Tim later attempted to apologise to Sara.
But it chaos broke out again as Sara continued to berate him.
‘But I pulled back massively because I felt like I just wanted to get to know him, and…there were no good convos,’ Sara added
