Conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel were spotted running errands with Abby’s husband and a Labradoodle this week.

The 35-year-old sisters – who rose to fame in the 1990s and starred in their own TLC series – were seen dropping off their dog at a groomer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Monday.

Abby’s husband, Josh Bowling, was also spotted nearby picking up beer and hard seltzers and loading them into the trunk of their car.

Dressed in a light blue tank top and sandals, the ‘ultra-rare’ twins were seen walking with their curly-haired dog.

The sighting comes just weeks after the pair were photographed placing a newborn baby into the back of a black Tesla in Arden Hills, Minnesota, on August 14.

The Hensels have not confirmed whether the baby belongs to them, but the appearance has reignited public interest in their personal lives, especially following the revelation last year that Abby married the U.S. Army veteran in 2021.

The couple’s marriage came to light after Today.com obtained their marriage records, and Bowling later updated his Facebook profile photo to include both Abby and Brittany.

It was also revealed that Abby became a stepmother to Bowling’s daughter from a previous relationship, according to TMZ.

Abby and Brittany have long been open about their desire to one day start families of their own.

In the 2003 documentary Joined for Life, the twins shared their hopes of becoming mothers, with Abby saying, ‘Yeah, we are going to be moms one day, but we don’t want to talk about how it’s going to work yet.’

Brittany added: ‘We’re going to be great moms. The whole world doesn’t need to know who we are seeing, what we are doing and when we are going to do it.’

Nine months ago, in November 2024, the sisters hinted at big news with a TikTok video featuring headlines like: ‘Married and baby on the way.’

While rare, conception is theoretically possible for female dicephalic (side-by-side) conjoined twins, like Abby and Brittany, who share one body below the waist, the Daily Mail previously reported.

The twin sisters share a single set of reproductive organs – but have two heads, two brains, two spinal cords, and two hearts. Abby controls the right side of their body, Brittany the left.

Though they’ve never publicly discussed their sex lives, medical experts note that conception through conventional means is possible in such cases.

However, questions remain about legal maternity, potential complications during pregnancy, and whether surrogacy or adoption was involved.

As renewed interest in the famous sisters grows, the twins remain firm in their stance against invasive curiosity.

In a TikTok video posted after news of Abby’s marriage surfaced, they addressed online scrutiny directly, captioning the clip, ‘This Is a Message To All the Haters Out There. If You Don’t Like What I Do But You Watch Everything I’m Doing You’re Still a Fan.’

‘The whole world doesn’t need to know,’ Brittany once said about their private lives. ‘But believe me, we are totally different people.’

Born in 1990 in Minnesota, Abby and Brittany defied medical odds after doctors warned their parents they were unlikely to survive their first night.

In 1996, they first appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show and later on the cover of LIFE magazine.

Their TLC show, Abby & Brittany, followed their journey through college at Bethel University and trips across Europe.

As of now, no further details have been released about the baby.
