Netflix has announced that their beloved Karate Kid sequel series Cobra Kai has started filming its sixth and final season in Atlanta.

The streaming service released a teaser photo last week and dropped a video from the set on Monday.

Ralph Macchio and William Zabka return as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence for the final season, where they’re both expected to bring both their dojos to the Sekai Taikai international karate tournament.

The news comes months after it was revealed that Macchio will team up with The Karate Kid reboot star Jackie Chan for a new movie.

The video begins with Macchio stating, ‘Hey, Cobra Kai fans…’ as Zabka continues,’The wait is over,’ likely referring to the writers and actors strikes that delayed production.
