CNN chose to broadcast Donald Trump’s entire 20-minute victory speech following his Super Tuesday victory as the presidential hopeful continues to storm towards a Biden election rematch.

Trump breezed past Nikki Haley to clinch wins in Maine, Oklahoma, Virginia, North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Minnesota and Massachusetts.

‘They tell me … that there’s never been one like this has never been anything so conclusive,’ Trump said beneath the gilded ceiling of the Grand Ballroom at his Mar-a-Lago compound.

His victory speech hit many of the key talking points which have contributed to his success, which CNN opted to broadcast in its entirety.

The decision marks a stark contrast to even just a few days ago when the left-leaning network cut away from Trump’s speech at the border citing ‘several lies’ he was proliferating.

Both the 81-year-old Biden and the 77-year-old Trump continue to dominate their parties despite facing questions about age and neither having broad popularity across the general electorate.

Now, it appears the two men are heading for a rematch of the 2020 election.

‘November 5 is going to go down as the single most important day in the history of our country,’ Trump said in his Super Tuesday victory speech.

Trump did not even mention his Republican rival Nikki Haley during his speech instead continuing his pivot to the presidential election and launching fresh salvoes on Biden

‘Other leaders … can’t believe what happened to us because three years ago we were the most respected country anywhere in the world by far,’ the former president said.

CNN decided to air the entirety of the Trump speech from Florida after the polls closed in a move from previous decisions to not air, or cut short Trump addresses. The move seemingly shows CNN recognizing Trump as the Republican challenger who needs to be heard by the electorate.

CNN’s decision was different than fellow liberal network MSNBC, which cut away from the speech.

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow previously stated the choice, ‘ is a decision that we revisit constantly and that we will revisit constantly.’

On Tuesday she went as far as to rebuke her employers for airing the speech, stating there is a ‘cost’ to news organizations for ‘knowingly broadcasting untrue things.’

CNN has previously cut from Trump speeches as recently as last week when the network stopped airing Trump’s comments from the border on the migrant crisis. CNN reporter Daniel Dale instead fact-checked the address, which he branded as ‘nonsense.’

Among the false claims made by Trump were assertions that people from jails and mental institutions were being ’emptied’ into the US, a claim Dale could not find any evidence for.

Trump also claimed many of those crossing the border spoke, ‘languages that no one has ever heard of’ which Dale stated had been ‘conjured out of thin air’.

CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins also noted that Trump misrepresented how much of the border wall was built under his administration.

He incorrectly claimed to have built 571 miles and Collins reminded viewers that ‘none of which Mexico paid for, which was another pledge of his.’

But it is not the first time CNN has censored the former president.

Last month, the network cut away from the former president’s comments following  Supreme Court oral arguments on whether he should be disqualified from the ballot in Colorado.

Anchor Jake Tapper cut him off as he began to attack the Biden administration, before the CNN panel burst into laughter.

The broadcaster also cut short Trump’s victory speech in the New Hampshire primary in January in order to fact check his claims, which included repeating his assertion that he won the 2020 election.

It comes as Biden’s allies have reportedly been encouraging media outlets to draw more attention to Trump’s rhetoric as part of their campaign, The Hill reports.
