Molly Ringwald appeared on Wednesday’s episode of Claim To Fame to confirm her relationship with ousted contestant Naomi Burns.
The 56-year-old actress was shown in a recorded video after Adam correctly guessed that she was linked to Naomi.
‘Hi, Claim To Fame. You figured it out. I’m Molly Ringwald and Naomi Burns is my cousin,’ Molly told the camera.
‘Anyway, sorry, Naomi. I hope you had a great time, and come home. Your family misses you,’ she added.
Molly’s appearance shocked the other contestants as it was the first time during season three of the ABC show that someone correctly guessed another contestant’s celebrity relative.

Kevin Jonas, 36, while standing next to co-host Frankie Jonas, 23, noted that it was the second Pretty In Pink star to appear this season.
‘We had Molly Ringwald and Jon Cryer. Who else do we got?,’ Kevin said.
Naomi did not like the way she was targeted.
‘I’m not disappointed that I got eliminated. I’m very disappointed in how I got eliminated. I had Hud’s back, and then I ended up getting screwed over. So I feel like I want to stab two men in their feet with pencils that aren’t very sharp,’ she said in a confessional.
Adam and Hud after a lie detector challenge finished in the bottom two while Shane was declared the winner earning immunity and a clue.
The contestants voted to make Adam the guesser after his aggressive tactics backfired and in a surprising twist he chose to target Naomi instead of Danny.
‘Wow. I definitely thought that I was the target, but…Naomi? Wow. I think I’m actually losing my mind,’ Danny said.
Adam as he prepared to guess Naomi’s celebrity relative panicked and forgot the name. He later admitted to writing the name on his wrist and looked as surprised as everyone else when his guess was correct.

Naomi after Molly’s appearance explained their connection.
‘Well, my name is Naomi Burns, and when I was a teenager, I moved in with my cousin Molly’s parents. They helped raise me, and I got extremely close with her because of that. I was able to have experiences and go places and do things that I never would have been able to do otherwise. And I have so much love and respect for her,’ Naomi said.
Hud provided Adam with the crucial information about Naomi and realized afterward that he put himself in a hole by doing so.
‘No one’s gonna trust me,’ Hud said.
