Christina Haack has opened up about her split from Josh Hall, 43, and his exit from their reality show The Flip Off.
Haack, 41, who is currently trying to sell her home in Tennessee, told Entertainment Tonight it was difficult filming the show due to her estranged husband’s insecurity.
‘When someone is insecure by you and doesn’t like to watch you win, that really puts a damper on everything,’ the reality star explained.
Haack, who changed her name to Hall when the couple married in April 2022, has gone back to using her maiden name.
‘I feel like I was not shining as bright, to try to not make him feel emasculated. But who wants to live like that?’ she asked.
‘It was not fun, to be honest,’ she continued.

Haack said Hall’s exit from The Flip Off made production much easier.
‘It was not fun, to be honest,’ she explained. ‘I did not enjoy filming with him, so having split up made this, to be honest, so much easier and so much better in every way.’
Haack had no problems on the set with her first ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, 43, with whom she shares children Taylor, 14, and Brayden, nine.
El Moussa and his wife, Heather Rae, 37, co-star in the house flipping show set to debut in 2025.
‘Tarek and I have our own dynamic, and some could call it “flirty,”‘ she said, explaining it was more a ‘sibling type of thing.’
Haack said she had been using El Moussa as a sounding board and ‘telling him that things were bad for at least a year… probably 18 months.’

El Moussa revealed Haack seemed to be returning to her old self after filing for divorce in July.
‘At the beginning, she was going through it, you know, but she recovers really quick, he told ET.
‘You can just tell, her energy’s back. She’s happy. She’s excited about life, like, she’s doing good.’
Ant Anstead, 45, Haack’s second ex-husband, was seen filming some scenes from The Flip Off recently in Los Angeles.
