Elsa recently returned to Byron Bay, where she lives with Chris and their three children, after enjoying a sun-soaked trip to her native Spain.
The actress was busy in the European country filming for her new TV role in a Spanish series called Matices.
Little is currently known about the series, which also stars Elsa’s friend Enrique Arce, but it has been described as a physiological thriller.
It will reportedly follow six patients who are participating in a rare treatment program when a detective is forced to intervene after things take a sinister turn.
It marks her return to Spanish television after she most recently had a cameo role in her husband Chris’ latest box office flop Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.
Chris and their kids – daughter India, 12, and twins Sasha and Tristan, 10 – joined her for part of her trip to Spain as they visited Barcelona together for her 48th birthday.
The couple and their kids visited the city’s top spots, enjoyed bike rides and went on for very lavish meals during the trip.
Just weeks after her own birthday, Chris marked his 41st birthday on August 11, with Elsa sharing a sweet tribute to her husband to mark the special day.
