An unhinged SUV driver has been arrested and charged after being seen ramming his car into another on a highway.
James Turner of New Liskeard in Ontario, Canada was driving on Highway 11 on January 6 when a 37-year-old man drove his Toyota Rav 4 into the ER nurse’s Honda Accord.
Turner says that he believed the suspect needed medical attention and pulled over to help.
However, dashcam footage shows the unidentified man speeding away, swerving their car around into oncoming traffic and repeatedly plowing into the victim.
After his car was hit on the bridge, the nurse managed to escape and drive towards a police station in town.
However, this did not dissuade the attacker and he drove his car once more into Turner’s.
Officials eventually deployed a spike belt to stop the suspect’s vehicle.
‘I used my headlights to say, hey, maybe stay on the road, get your eyes off your cellphone because I thought maybe they were texting and driving.

‘And from there, they tried reversing into me. That doesn’t go their way so they turn around and swerve, and try to push me into a bridge with a 200-foot drop to frozen water,’ Turner told CBC News.
The terrified nurse had already called 911 and reported the incident while he was being attacked.
The victim was left with sprains to his wrist and thumb. His damaged car is expected to be a complete loss due to the collisions.
He has since been using a rental car and is avoiding turning on his headlights.
‘Now I’m more concerned about making sure that people are aware that mental health is important.
OPP Provincial Const. Martin Thibault also commented: ‘We do have the odd road rage incident that we do have to deal with occasionally, but I would say that this is an isolated incident and this individual obviously may have had other issues going on as well.’
Cops have also took Turner’s dashcam video as evidence after he preserved the footage for court proceedings.
The suspect faces multiple charges including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, two counts of assaulting a police officer and breach of recognizance.
