Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross allegedly physically abused his girlfriend and broke some of her possessions while also causing damage to her car during an altercation leading to his arrest last month.

Prosecutors say police told them about the alleged assault taking place in Johnson County, Kansas, on October 23, in court documents obtained by TMZ Sports

The dispute between the NFL player and his partner started when he allegedly found out that he was being cheated on.

According to an affidavit related to Ross’ arrest, the rookie Chiefs wideout became all aggressive with his girlfriend after digging into her phone, the woman told police officers.

He not only pushed her, but also threw her to the floor and started throwing objects at her, too.

The woman didn’t suffer any major injuries, or bruises, but was seen with a ‘small scratch’ on her hand after the incident, according to arrest documents.

Authorities also reported the woman’s account of Ross breaking her stuff during the encounter, including jewelry, a cell phone, laptop and a key to her Mercedes.

What’s more, is that two neighbors claiming to have witnessed the incident, told police that they saw the former Clemson player ‘run a knife across’ the woman’s car.

Documents also show that Ross told cops that he did actually throw his girlfriend’s belongings out of the door after he learned about her infidelity.

He allegedly admitted to breaking a computer of hers, even though he claimed it to be his own, but denied breaking any of her other stuff, according to arrest docs.

The 23-year-old, rookie is facing a bleak future in the NFL after getting into legal trouble in Oct.

Ross has only played in seven NFL games, so far, in his career, logging in three receptions

Ross ended up being arrest over the allegations and was charged with domestic battery and criminal damage, ruling him out of Chiefs practice and games for the foreseeable future.

He’s due to appear before a judge on December 4 after pleading not guilty to all charges at a October 24th hearing.

Ross was also place on the Commissioner’s Exempt List on October 27, meaning that his football career has come at a full stop, for now, at least. He will still be able to attend Chiefs meetings while his criminal case is being taken care of.

Up to this point, Ross has only played in seven NFL games, being on the receiving end of three passes from Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes.
