Cher’s son Elijah Blue Allman has had his attempt to dismiss his divorce from his estranged wife Marieangela ‘Queeny’ King denied by a judge.
The judge refused to dismiss the divorce due to a temporary order for support to King already being in place, according to documents obtained by The Blast.
Earlier this month, DailyMail.com reported that Allman, 47, and King, 36, had joined forces to ask a judge to toss their divorce action.
The move would have allowed King to make decisions related to Allman’s drug abuse treatments.
The move to cancel the divorce appears to be a sign of a reconciliation between Allman and King, as she tries to prevent his mother from being able to put him under a conservatorship.

However, a judge denied the 77-year-old singer and actress’ request for a conservatorship earlier in January.
At the time, Elijah claimed that he had been sober for the past three months.
As the decision to deny a dismissal for the divorce was seemingly based on a on a technicality — the previous decision awarding King temporary support from Allman — it’s unclear if that support arrangement could subsequently be ended, potentially allowing the motion to move forward.
Allman — who is Cher’s son with her second husband, the late musician Gregg Allman — filed for divorce from King in 2021.
Back in October, King asked the court to make Allman continue to pay her support and to cover her legal fees after he went without communicating with her since April of 2023.
She also asked at the time that he pay her $40,000 in previously ordered support that she claimed he had never given her.
But the two appeared to have reunited and put aside some of their differences in order to work on their marriage.
In December, King accused Cher of kidnapping Allman from a New York hotel room on their wedding anniversary just as they were trying to patch up their stormy marriage.

Then, earlier in January claimed Cher had thrown Allman ‘into a lockdown facility’ in Mexico, saying she had ‘historically excluded’ her from being involved in his treatment decisions.
‘I have always been a champion for the sober community and for Elijah’s sobriety,’ King, 36, said in a lengthy statement obtained by DailyMail.com.
‘I have full confidence in legitimate, ethically operated, HIPAA protected American medical establishments that offer long standing, time-tested treatment for those suffering from substance abuse or any number of mental health issues,’ she added.
‘What I am not OK with are establishments that exclude me (his wife) from being part of Elijah’s treatment and hopeful recovery.
‘I am not OK with pop-up, makeshift, unethical scam rehabs which take full advantage of families in desperate situations and seek to fraudulently exploit insurance companies for services not rendered.
‘I am especially not OK with Elijah being coerced under false pretenses on or about October 17, 2023, into participating in an alternative medicine regimen and then being thrown into a lockdown facility in Mexico, sleeping behind a locked cage with six other individuals, under an imposed Mexican Conservatorship.’
The statement issued through her record company, said: ‘It is not an exaggeration to say that Ms. King recently risked her own life to ensure her husband’s safe return back to the US.’
Earlier this month, Cher claimed in court filings that Allman had gone missing, which she used to bolster her position that a conservatorship was necessary.
However, he turned up in person at a hearing this month to deny her claims in person while saying he had been drug-free for three months.
Judge Jessica Uzcategui subsequently denied Cher’s petition, ruling that her attorneys had not given Elijah enough notice to prepare for the hearing.

She also determined that Cher’s legal team had refused to pass on confidential information to Allman that was necessary for him to defend himself.
Allman receives monthly payments of $10,000 from a trust fund, but his mother has argued that the payments could put his life at risk should he use them for drugs or make other risky decisions with the money.
She has asked for the funds to be diverted to an account she would control, allowing her to dole at funds to take care of his living expenses as she sees fit, while attempting to stop him from using the money for illicit substances.
Cher has said that King is a ‘destructive presence’ in her son’s life, and she has accused Allman’s wife of getting in the way of treatments she set up for him.
