Charlie Sheen revealed he is on good terms with his ex-wife Denise Richards.
The Golden Globe-winning actor, 58, has been opening up about his new outlook on life following his public battle with substance abuse disorder.
And now he got candid about where he stands with the RHOBH star after years of feuding following their divorce in 2006.
‘We’re absolutely friendly,’ Charlie told People on Wednesday. ‘We went through so much s*** together that I don’t think either one of us has any energy left to be divisive.’
Hollywood’s former It couple married in 2002 and welcomed daughter Sami in 2004 and the next year, daughter Lola.
‘The only thing that matters is the kids,’ Charlie added. ‘We knew we had to park our nonsense and focus on the children, because they had nothing to do with any of our crud.’

The actor – who will mark six years of sobriety next month – went on to that their daughters were always a focus despite the parents’ intense feuding, which he referred to as the ‘hottest portions of depths of the inferno.’
‘Now we’re super friendly, and we’re actually able to process so much of it through humor these days,’ he added. ‘You get a little distance, and it’s like, “Really? We were so upset about that?”‘
Earlier this week, he claimed he is a ‘single father’ to his twin sons and that their mother Brooke Mueller is ‘not in the picture too much right now.’
Charlie welcomed Bob and Max with Brooke, 46, in 2009 during their three year marriage from 2008 to 2011.
He told People: ‘I’ve mostly been raising my 14-year-old boys. Their mom has been trying to figure some stuff out on her end, so she’s not in the picture too much right now.’
The former couple only recently resolved their years-long child support case after the actor had filed a request to pay less in 2018.
As the Major League alum is busy relaunching his acting career, he also spoke about his reconciliation with Chuck Lorre after the Two and a Half Men creator called him up for a role on a new show, marking an end to their 12-year public feud.
‘Chuck reached out he said, “Hey, it’s time to bury the hatchet. It’s time for us to give each other a hug. And remember the great stuff that we did together,”‘ the actor, 58, recalled to People. ‘”Because we made a lot of people happy for a long time, and we left some really solid work behind us.'”

The reunion, which Charlie called ‘surreal’, took place on the HBO Max lot of Lorre’s sports gambling dramedy Bookie, where Sheen plays a version of himself over two episodes.
‘Both of us were just beaming. Beaming,’ Charlie added.
The pair hadn’t spoken in over a decade after the falling out, which began in 2011 after the star called Lorre ‘stupid’ and ‘little maggot’ in a series of well-publicized tirades.
