Carey Mulligan reunited with her Maestro onscreen leading man Bradley Cooper to attend the Academy’s 14th Annual Governors Awards, which were held at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood on Tuesday.

Carey and Bradley looked as thick as thieves as they caught up and cut up while posing for photographers.
Mulligan bared her shoulders in a b&w Celine gown, black patent leather pumps, and jewelry from Kwiat Diamonds and Fred Leighton selected by stylist Andrew Mukamal.

Groomer Amy Komorowski gave the two-time Grammy winner tousled hair and she made sure his stubbly complexion was dewy for the film festivities.

Cooper spent six years preparing to play the Massachusetts-born musician by studying the way he conducted orchestras, honing his way of speaking with dialect coach Tim Monich, and collaborating with Oscar-winning make-up artist Kazu Hiro.
Mulligan portrays Leonard’s devoted wife Felicia Montealegre, with whom he raised three children during their 25-year marriage interrupted by her 1978 death from lung cancer.
‘The first hook was the idea of two artists living concurrently together, making a life together, and one of them being literally touched by God and the other one being an artist,’ the four-time Golden Globe nominee told THR last Thursday.
