Cameron Diaz received a loving tribute from her husband Benji Madden as the couple posed for a rare selfie to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary and her return to the big screen.

The Mask actress, 52 – who made her first red carpet appearance in five years at the Back In Action premiere – cozied up next to the musician, 45, as he sweetly called her his ‘best friend.’

Diaz – who retired from Hollywood in 2018 to focus on family – took on a leading role in the action comedy, Back In Action, which released on Netflix on Friday, January 17.

In his latest post, Madden uploaded a photo of both himself and Cameron as they took the snap outdoors.

She wrapped her right arm over his shoulders as the lovebirds – who tied the knot in 2015 – flashed small smiles towards the camera.

‘This is my QUEEN ❤️ I celebrate this BAD A** WOMAN . Wife, Mommy, friend, partner, Boss, and lover,’ Benji penned in the caption.

‘We just hit 10 YEARS married on January 5th and every year only gets more fulfilling. It’s special.’

‘Never perfect – always real- always reliable. Every day getting to have my best friend with me ride or die….what a beautiful life- I am GRATEFUL!!!’

The Good Charlotte guitarist concluded with, ‘And ANOTHER MiLESTONE happening TOMORROW!!! We are SO happy to see you….BACK IN ACTION!!….Congrats baby!!❤️❤️❤️ @camerondiaz GO watch it on @netflix.’

The Charlie’s Angels star and the musician tied the knot in January 2015 during a romantic ceremony at her home in Beverly Hills.

In late 2019, the pair welcomed their first child together via surrogate: a daughter named Raddix, five. Last year in March, the two announced that their second child – a son named Cardinal – had also been born.

At the time, Cameron – who doesn’t post photos of her children for their privacy – jumped to Instagram to share the special news.

Alongside a drawing that had, ‘A little bird whispered to me,’ written towards the top, she wrote to her followers, ‘We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our Son, Cardinal Madden.’

‘He is awesome and We are all so happy he is here! For the kids safety and privacy we won’t be posting any pictures- but he’s a really cute ☺️. We are feeling so blessed and grateful…’

Last month in December, Cameron opened up about what she ‘depends’ on to keep her marriage to Madden strong.

‘It’s what we depend on, so you have that commitment to work on it,’ she explained and added it prevents the pair from doing ‘the same thing over and over.’

Therapy also helps her to answer questions such as ‘Why didn’t it work? How can I make it work? What’s my part? What’s the other person’s work?’

Diaz further expressed that going to therapy helps the couple to be ‘a little bit more equipped to hopefully come out with a different outcome.’

‘You can’t be in a marriage and have a family if…both people are not 100 percent every day. Nobody can be 99 and the other one be 100. [It helps us] either resolve something or create a new understanding of a new process together.’

Earlier this month, Cameron and Benji were spotted on a rare excursion together in Montecito.

Diaz is also celebrating her return to the big screen in the action comedy, Back In Action, which officially dropped on the streaming site this week on Friday.

Along with Cameron, the cast also includes Jamie Foxx, Glenn Close, Andrew Scott, Kyle Chandler and Jamie Demetriou.

The premise is: ‘Former CIA spies Emily (Diaz) and Matt (Foxx) are pulled back into espionage after their secret identities are exposed,’ per an IMDB synopsis.

During a recent appearance on an upcoming episode of The Graham Norton Show, the actress said that she had been a ‘fool’ not to return to Hollywood.

Her last project had been Annie (2014) and announced her retirement from the industry in 2018.

However, Cameron shared that she was ‘back all thanks to Jamie’ while adding, ‘I had 10 years of not paying attention to anything; not accepting any advances, and then I got this script and thought that maybe it was time.’

‘If I was going to leave my family for 10 hours a day I wanted to do it with the most talented man in the entertainment business.’

She further reflected, ‘It is a privilege to make films, and we are all so lucky to do what we do. That the door was even open for me after a decade was amazing.’

‘I loved those 10 years for me and my family, but I thought, “If I let this go away, if I don’t engage again, and if I don’t give it chance, I am a fool.” It might be the beginning of something, but its here now and I am grateful for it.’

Diaz also discussed whether she was back to acting for good while talking to Empire Magazine last month in December.

The star admitted, ‘I don’t know how I view it. It’s hard to say. If I say it then it becomes this thing.’

‘I reserve the right to say no to doing a movie ever again, and I reserve the right to say yes if I decide to. I’m not defining anything. I’m just open to whatever makes sense for me and my family at any given moment.’

Cameron also gave a shout out to Foxx who had also joined in on the interview and stated, ‘I thought that if I was going to come back and do a movie, the only person I’d come back and do it with would be this guy.’

‘Seriously. I had other opportunities along the way and I was always saying, “No. I’m not doing it, I’ve told you… What? Jamie asked? Jamie? Oh, I can do a movie with Jamie.”‘

She was last seen on the red carpet to support Lucy Liu as she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2019.

The actress was stylish wearing a pair of high-waisted, black pants as well as a sheer black blouse.

Cameron layered the look with a long, black coat and swept up her blonde locks into a chic up do, allowing loose strands to border the sides of her face.
