Burger King’s secret menu lets customers have it their way as burger fanatics are getting creative with their weird Whopper orders.

Chowhound compiled a list of wacky Whopper hacks that anyone can try off of the popular chain’s secret menu – and some combinations are far more absurd than others.

The classic Whopper comes with flame-grilled beef patty with mayo, ketchup, lettuce, tomato, pickles and sliced onions on a sesame seed bun.

Jazzing up the standard menu item may be worthwhile, as the food website outlines some of the quirky combinations in its detailed review.

The BK Bird N’ Beef

The Bird N’ Beef is the combination of a Double Whopper Jr. and a Chicken Jr. sandwich.

The chicken sandwich is placed in between the two beef patties, creating a massively meaty meal.

‘Burger King’s chicken options are usually mid-tier at best when ranked alongside other fast food chicken sandwiches and the Double Whopper Jr. is decent on its own,’ Chowhound food writer Alex Springer wrote.

‘So the hope with this particular mash up is that you’ll get something greater than the sum of its parts.’

Another rendition of this already decadent meal is the ‘Royal’ Bird N’ Beef. According to Cozymeal, this involves two chicken patties instead of one, creating a ‘Goliath of a burger.’

The Quad Whopp

In case the Bird N’ Beef was not large enough, the Quad Whopp takes the meatiness to the next level, with a ‘whopping’ four beef patties stacked on it instead of the standard two.

Springer said this burger ‘is not for the faint of heart,’ as the original fan favorite  already contains a quarter pound of meat.

The food writer suggested that the best way to order this sandwich may be to order two Double Whoppers with cheese and assemble it on your own, as the staff may not always be able to build it for you.

‘I can’t really say that I recommend the Quad Whopp, though I am glad I gave it a try,’ he asserted.

The Quad Stacker

Slightly smaller Quad Whopp, this item is a ‘throwback’ to the BK Stackers that appeared on Burger King’s menu in 2006.

But since all of the ingredients are readily available – patties, cheese and bacon – curious fast-foodies can give the modern classic a try.

Sometimes, staff will make the burger if someone asks for a Quad Stacker. If not not, Stringer said to order two Bacon Double Cheeseburgers without any veggies or condiments.

After that, the costumer can take the buns off of one of the burgers and put the patties onto the other.

The BK Surf and Turf

For those who cannot decide if they are craving crispy fish or a classic burger, this hybrid sandwich combines the two.

The off-menu item can be achieved by ordering a Big Fish sandwich with a whopper patty added to it.

Springer thought this meal had a little too much going on – and that the two menu offerings were better off apart.

He wrote in his Chowhound review: ‘The BK Surf and Turf has a few conceptual issues that simply made me appreciate Burger King’s Big Fish sandwich for what it accomplishes as a solo item

‘In theory, I think the burger and fish patty sandwich can be a win, but Burger King made its fish sandwich into too much of a delicate diva to accommodate the brusque flavors of a flame-broiled burger.’

The Mustard Whopper

The Mustard Whopper is pretty straightforward – a regular whopper, but with mustard added to it.

The Whopper automatically comes with mayo and ketchup. Curious customers can tack on some zingy yellow mustard or swap out the other two condiments for it.

Springer revealed that her prefers when mustard is the only sauce on the sandwich.

He vividly wrote: ‘There’s a backyard barbecue flavor aesthetic that emanates from yellow mustard and a flame-broiled burger patty – the smokiness from the meat and the acid from the mustard just meld together nicely.

‘I also think that adding one more liquid ingredient to a burger that already has mayo, ketchup, tomatoes, and pickles is just asking for trouble.’

According to HackTheMenu, another way to order this under-the-radar burger is by swapping out the mayo for mustard and leaving the ketchup on it.

The BK BLT

This flavorful sandwich mashes up a Whopper with a classic bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich.

BK patrons can get their hands on the meatier BLT by ordering a Whopper with no pickles or onions and adding bacon to it.

‘Adding a few strips of bacon to any one of Burger King’s non-bacon-themed sandwiches is only going to spruce things up,’ Springer cheekily wrote.

Other Whopper creations

Burger King lovers have come up with their own unique orders, posting pictures of them on social media for others to try.

For example, one X user shared his calorific burger mash up – a Texas double whopper with mozzarella cheese sticks and fries.

Another user shared their original Double Land, Air, and Sea King. The item appears to combine beef, chicken and fish patties into one, resembling a ramped up BK Surf N’ Turf.
