She is well-known for her portrayal of Brookside’s Rachel Jordache, appearing in two stints between 1993 and 1996, and then returning in 1997 for six years.

Tiffany also starred in Channel 4’s Emmerdale as Cindy Burton, bringing to life a complex storyline as her character suffered abuse from her father Trevor and abandonment from her mum Mandy, while her sister Beth passed away in prison.

Cindy eventually married Mike Dixon and they welcomed a baby together, before saying goodbye to the soap in 2003.

She also played Meg Booth in Hollyoaks for a brief stint from June to July 2007, and has also starred in Doctors as Sue Stain.

In 2016, Tiffany appeared in a series of adverts for Halifax bank, where she played a bank teller.

But now, the TV fame seems a distant memory as the star now conducts a very ‘normal’ lifestyle.

Tiffany – who is the daughter of former footballer Les Chapman – currently works as a dental receptionist at the Apollonia House Dental and Healthcare facility in Oldham.

On the official company’s website she is pictured flashing a gentle beam accompanied by her role name.

In 2002, she married husband Jonathan Eglin in 2002 and the couple previously announced their engagement in 2001 with a magazine shoot.

It comes after fellow Brookside legend Louis Emerick discussed there is a ‘stigma’ surrounding soap actors.

The TV star, 64, made his name playing Mick Johnson on Channel 4‘s now-defunct serial Brookside in the 1990s and later appeared on Coronation Street and Doctors.

But he has now hit out at critics of the genre as he claimed that continuing dramas do not always get the praise they deserve.

He told The Daily Star Sunday: ‘Soap actors are underestimated. There is still a stigma.

‘But some of the scenes you get on a soap wouldn’t look out of place on a drama. Look at the stuff they are doing now.

‘If some of those storylines were on a drama, people would be saying, “That’s fantastic”. But because they’re on soaps, people don’t make enough fuss.’
