Brock Lesnar could be set for a return to WWE in the very near future, according to reports.
Lesnar hasn’t been seen in the company since losing to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam in August 2023, putting an end to the pair’s trilogy after he attacked Rhodes on the RAW after WrestleMania.
‘The Beast’ had been linked with a return to the UFC, with Michael Bisping suggesting the former World Champion could be set to take on interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall in UFC 300 main event.
He hasn’t fought in the MMA promotion since UFC 200 in 2016, however, when his match against Mark Hunt was ruled a no content, with Lesnar’s original win being overturned after he failed both an out-of-competition and a night-of-fight drug test.
According to Westling Observer Radio, an MMA return is unlikely to happen soon, with the 46-year-old reportedly set to return to WWE any week now.

Lesnar could be set to return in the Royal Rumble match, or potentially appear on TV next week
Lesnar often wrestles on the biggest premium live events in WWE, including WrestleMania, beating Omos at last year’s event.
The year before that, he lost out to Roman Reigns, who unified the Universal Championship and WWE Championship with victory in the main event of the second night of theĀ show.
The Royal Rumble is just around the corner, set to take place on the night of January 27, and Lesnar has missed just one Rumble since 2014. After winning the 2022 edition to set up the match with Reigns, he was eliminated by Bobby Lashley last year to set up the pair’s feud.
It is reported that he may be set to return in the match itself as a surprise entrant, while he could also turn up on next week’s RAW or SmackDown. An appearance this week wasn’t considered, due to competition from the Emmys and football.

Lesnar has, however, been linked with a return to the UFC to fight Tom Aspinall at UFC 300
Bisping, meanwhile, had suggested that due to the merger that saw the UFC and WWE taken over by TKO, Lesnar could turn up at UFC 300.
‘UFC 300, will we see Brock Lesnar on there again,’ the former middleweight champion said on The Count. ‘It sounds stupid because Brock Lesnar is no spring chicken. ‘He’s 46 years old, but remember Randy Couture fought on to the ripe old age of about 47.
‘Fighters have gone on longer. Guess what? When there’s millions of dollars on the line, people will come and fight. And people would love to see Brock Lesnar stepping in there once again.
‘The UFC and the WWE, they’re both owned by the same parent company now. So, I would imagine that the politics and the contractual stuff that would be pretty easy waters to navigate.’
