Bridget Fonda was spotted without her wedding ring during a rare public appearance in Los Angeles this week — amid husband Danny Elfman’s mounting legal woes.
The retired actress, 60 — known for her work in Single White Female (1992) and the Quentin Tarantino classic Jackie Brown (1997) — was photographed Monday arriving at LAX airport.
She was seen unloading luggage with her and Elfman’s 19-year-old son Oliver from the back of a female friend’s vehicle.
After their belongings were loaded onto an airport trolley, Bridget and Oliver quickly made their way into the terminal.
Bridget looked in high spirits while rocking a green jacket over a black T-shirt and sweatpants.

Danny Elfman sued by woman saying he gave her a martini glass of semen
Her gray-blonde hair was swept up in a claw clip, she had on black-framed eyeglasses and she appeared to be makeup-free.
A large designer tote bag was slung over one of her shoulders.
Although her wedding ring was missing from her left hand, Bridget did accessorize with a gold chain necklace.
Oliver — who is Bridget and Danny’s only child — had on an N95 mask and an all-black sweat outfit.
The red-haired teenager was preoccupied with his iPhone as his mother bid farewell to the pal who dropped them off at the airport.
The mother-on duo looked happy to be getting out of town for the week.
Bridget was last seen publicly in October 2023 during a solo errand run in LA, where she lives with Elfman and Oliver.
After starring in a number of high-profile films and earning an Emmy nomination, Bridget famously retired from acting in 2002 to focus on raising a family with her composer spouse.
She is rarely sighted and previously confessed that she prefers civilian life and has no plans to return to Hollywood.
Bridget’s latest public outing comes just one month after Elfman was hit with a defamation lawsuit by a woman who previously accused him of serving her a martini glass filled with semen.
Nomi Abadi, a 36-year-old composer, had previously sued Elfman for breach of contract after alleging that he had failed to pay her a portion of a settlement they had previously agreed to.

In a 2023 Rolling Stone piece, Abadi made the accusation involving the martini glass, which elicited a vigorous denial from Elfman.
But now Abadi is taking Elfman to court over his response to her claims with a new defamation lawsuit. She is suing the Oingo Boingo singer and songwriter — who was also been sued by a second woman for alleged sexual abuse — for denying her account, which she claims is tantamount to calling her a liar, according to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ.
DailyMail.com reached out to representatives for Elfman and Abadi but never heard back.
In Abadi’s defamation suit, which was filed by the attorney Eric M. George, she reiterated her claims that Elfman gave her a martini glass filled with semen.
She says she was invited to Elfman’s studio in August of 2016, when she was allegedly presented with the martini glass bearing a whitish substance.
Abadi describes how she ‘sat in silence, terrified, gagging from the putrid smell coming from … semen ejaculate.’
She also claims that Elfman made a comment about former President Donald Trump, who was only a candidate at the time..
It’s unclear what sentiment the Batman composer expressed, but Abadi says she responded by sharing her support for Democratic presidential candidate and Senator Bernie Sanders.

Elfman allegedly responded, ‘We can’t have a Jew running our country,’ though it’s unclear if Abadi took his words to be a tasteless joke or a sincere statement.
The Rolling Stone report cited a police report filed by Abadi in November 2017, in which she claimed that Elfman had exposed his genitals and masturbated in her presence — without her consent — multiple times.
In the wake of the accusations, Elfman agreed to a 2018 settlement and nondisclosure agreement with Abadi.
But she sued the musician in 2023 for breach of contract for allegedly failing to pay all of the agreed-upon $830,000.
Abadi claimed he had failed to make two payments, one due in 2019 and one in 2021, which totaled $85,000.
‘How do I respond to accusations so serious that being innocent is not a valid defense? It is excruciating to consider that a 50-year career may be destroyed in one news cycle as a result of vicious and wholly false allegations about sexual misconduct,’ began Elfman’s florid denial.
‘Ms. Abadi’s allegations are simply not true,’ he continued.
He also claimed Abadi had described him as her ‘childhood crush’ and that she planned to ‘break up’ his marriage to Bridget, who he’s been married to since 2003.
Elfman claimed to have ‘done nothing indecent or wrong,’ and he said he had ‘voluminous evidence that these accusations are false.’
A representative for Elfman later said that his ‘limited interactions’ with Abadi ‘did not involve sexual contact’ and ‘were fully consensual.’
Film composer Danny Elfman, 71, is being sued by the composer and pianist Nomi Abadi for defamation, TMZ reported on Wednesday. She had previously sued him for failing to pay all of an $830,000 settlement they had agreed upon
Abadi is suing Elfman (pictured in August 2023 in Chula Vista, Calif.) for denying claims she made that he masturbated in front of her multiple times and presented her with a martini glass filled with semen in a 2023 Rolling Stone story
Elfman’s representatives also claimed that the martini glass was not filled with semen, but instead was filled with the moisturizing cream Cetaphil.
A photo of the glass with a white substance was emailed to Abadi before her meeting with Elfman in which he allegedly presented it to her in person.
The representative said the martini glass and its contents were ‘designed to be a stupid photo prop’ for a photoshoot, and they said ‘Ms. Abadi knew that.’
Now Abadi is suing Elfman for defamation and requesting unreported damages over his denials.
She says her statements to Rolling Stone were truthful, and she says Elfman’s statements, which she characterized as lies, had damaged her career as a composer and performer and had led her to suffer health problems.
