Brendan Fraser had what looked like a pleasant chat after grabbing lunch in New York City on Tuesday.
The 54-year-old Oscar winner showed off a jubilant smile as he stopped to chat with the film producer Julia Lebedev that he ran into after finishing his food.
He carried a bag from the popular Italian restaurant Via Carota, where he had dined earlier on his outing.
Brendan, who has a small but pivotal role in Martin Scorsese’s acclaimed Western crime epic Killers Of The Flower Moon, was out a day after his costar Robert De Niro furiously claimed that a speech he intended to give paying tribute to the film that featured sections lambasting former President Donald Trump had been edited without his knowledge at the Gotham Independent Film Awards.
The actor, who has lately made an astonishing comeback in Hollywood, was dressed casually for his city stroll with a dark blue denim button-up shirt and lighter-colored jeans.

Fraser layered his look with a medium-thick black jacket that he partially zipped up, and he carried a brown to-go bag from Via Carota.
He could be seen chatting on the street with Lebedev, who recently produced the acclaimed A Thousand And One and the Hugh Jackman–starring Bad Education.
It’s not clear if Lebedev had been having lunch with him or if they ran into each other afterward.
The two have a professional connection, as she’s producing his upcoming film Rental Family.
It was announced earlier this month that the Whale star would lead the movie, in which he plays a down-on-his-luck actor living in Tokyo.
He joins a rental family company, part of a real-life trend in which Japanese people can rent actors to play fake family or friends in real life, and he is perfect as the acting company’s token American.
Although he appeared in Killers Of The Flower Moon after winning the Best Actor Academy Award for The Whale, Fraser filmed that role before shooting began on The Whale, making Rental Family his first major role since winning his Oscar.
It will also be a return to comedy for Fraser, who showed off his comic chops during his heyday in the 1990s and 2000s, before largely focusing on dramatic roles afterward.

Fraser’s latest role was a small but pivotal part as a lawyer for Robert De Niro’s villainous cattle baron in Martin Scorsese’s acclaimed Killers Of The Flower Moon
He would have had another comeback role under his belt after starring as the villain in DC’s Batgirl movie, but Warner Bros. scrapped the nearly completed film, reportedly as a cost-cutting measure.
Despite initial reports that early test screenings were poorly received, leading to complaints that the film looked cheap compared to similar DC superhero movies, Warner Bros. denied that quality played a role in the decision to not release Batgirl.
Instead, it was reportedly an attempt to decrease the studio’s tax burden.
Prior to his latest buzzy roles and his scrapped Batgirl part, Fraser also received critical accolades for a small role as a villain in Steven Soderbergh’s period neo-noir film No Sudden Move, which starred Don Cheadle and Benicio Del Toro and received strong reviews.
