Céline Dion put on a brave face as she stepped out in NYC on Tuesday – after tearing up at the premiere of her Amazon documentary amid her battle with stiff-person syndrome.
The 56-year-old French-Canadian chanteuse was sporting a green Céline Paris ’70s T-shirt,’ which currently retails for an eye-popping $640 as she waved at fans – a week before film, I Am: Celine Dion, premieres.
Céline – who combed her blonde locks into a back bun – finished off her casual attire with belted blue jeans, b&w peep-toe heels, and a green Chanel flap handbag.
Dion accessorized with large Jackie O-style sunglasses over her makeup-free face, gold hoop earrings, a statement ring, a seashell-shaped pendant necklace, and a gold watch.
The five-time Grammy winner has always had an eccentric sense of style, most notably donning a back-baring John Galliano reverse tuxedo at the 1999 Oscars.

Celine Dion reveals why she was reluctant to announce her Stiff Person Syndrome diagnosis
On Monday night, Céline attended the I Am: Celine Dion premiere – which marked her first red carpet event since being diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder affecting her muscles, in December 2022.
Dion posed at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall wearing a $1,900 white Dior pussybow blouse, $4,200 matching maxi-skirt, and a $2,700 crystal Dior belt selected by ‘image architect’ Law Roach, whose only other client is Zendaya.
The Québec-born belter was joined at the premiere by one of her three sons – 23-year-old René-Charles Angélil – from her 21-year marriage to former manager René Angélil who died, age 73, from throat cancer in 2016.
Céline’s 13-year-old fraternal twin sons Eddy and Nelson Angélil decided to stay at home.
Dion was only 12 when the twice-divorced father-of-three took her on and reportedly mortgaged his home to fund her first record La voix du bon Dieu in 1981.
The Love Again songstress got emotional speaking inside the screening, making sure to thank her neurologist, Dr. Amanda Piquet, for ‘replacing my fear with hope.’
‘Of course, I wouldn’t be here without the daily love and support from my wonderful children,’ Céline gushed.
‘Thank you, René-Charles. Thank you, Nelson. Thank you, Eddy. I love you very much. And thanks to you, my fans. Your presence in my journey has been a gift beyond measure. Your never-ending love and support over all the issues have delivered me to this moment.

‘One of the stories you will hear from me in this movie as I was reading, learning about my condition. I compared myself — and I’m not saying this because we’re in New York — but I compared myself to an apple. Oh, it sounds like we made it up, but I did, and I was in Las Vegas.
‘When I said to myself that I compared myself to an apple from a tree, [I said], “I don’t want you [fans] to wait in line anymore if I don’t have any shiny apples for you.” So a couple of days ago, I saw a message from a fan and it said, “We’re not here for the apple. We’re here for the truth.”‘
