Brad Pitt is ‘distraught’ and upset he has been unable to speak to his estranged son Pax who is in hospital after crashing his bike into the back of a car in Los Angeles.
Pax was not wearing a helmet when his electric dirt bike ran up the back of a car stopped at a red light on Sunday at 5.12pm on Los Feliz Boulevard, Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to Dailymail.com.
Witnesses at the scene said Pax immediately complained about pain in his head and hip after the crash.
Responding police and paramedics were worried he’d suffered bleeding on his brain so rushed him to the hospital.
The car’s driver reportedly did their duty by getting out and checking on the injured Pax before police and paramedics arrived.
A source close to Angelia Jolie told Dailymail.com she’s ‘by his side in hospital’ where he remains in a stable condition.‘ The full extent of his injuries are not yet clear.
Pax has been been estranged from Pitt since an alleged domestic violence incident with on a private jet with ex-wife Angelina in 2016. In an Instagram post from 2020, he called his Pitt a ‘world class a***hole’ and an ‘awful human being’.
But despite their lack of contact, a source told DailyMail.com: ‘Brad is distraught and worried over Pax’s accident, but he is unable to reach him.

‘It is very upsetting to Brad whenever he hears of one of the kids being hurt and he feels completely powerless because there is nothing that he can do at all.’
‘A father’s inclination would be to go to the hospital, or to call him. He’s tried so many times but the kids won’t take his calls. His hands are tied.’
‘Brad doesn’t think that Pax should be driving a scooter without a helmet to begin with – he should have been in a car,’ the insider said, in a subtle swipe at Angelina.

Pax was adopted by Jolie, 49, from an orphanage in Vietnam when he was three.
He remains close to his mother, as do his five siblings, Maddox, 23, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.

A source close to Jolie blamed Pitt for his fractured relationship with Pax.
The estranged couple were recently involved in a bitter fight after Pitt filed a $67 million lawsuit against Jolie over the sale of their Miraval wine business.
Pax was spotted riding riding around Los Angeles riding on a $3,000 Talaria Sting R MX4 electric bike on July 11th. He wasn’t wearing a helmet.
California laws require all motorcycle riders to wear helmets, while all under 18s must wear them for type three electric scooters. He was also not supposed to be riding the off-road scooter on the road.
Pax and Angelina had a rare public sighting two days after the when they went out for Japanese food at the celebrity hotspot Sushi Park in West Hollywood.
Jolie adopted Pax from an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2007 when he was three. He had been dumped as a newborn by his heroin-addicted biological mother.

In addition to Pax, she and Brad share five other children. Their three biological children are daughter Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
Maddox, 22, was adopted by Jolie from Cambodia in 2002. Zahara, 19, was adopted by Jolie from Ethiopia in 2005.
Pitt later joined her in adopting Maddox and Zahara in 2006, and Pax in 2008.
Pitt and Jolie began dating in 2005 after Pitt’s marriage to Jennifer Aniston, 55, ended. They got engaged in 2012 and married in 2014 in Miraval, France.
Pitt and Jolie have been stuck in a bitter divorce battle over assets and custody for years.
Pax has not been seen with Pitt since Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in 2016.

She claimed that he was intoxicated and that he grabbed her by the head and shook her, and later pushed her down, as part of a confrontation allegedly related to their children.
According to the FBI, Jolie said Pitt told the children that she was ‘f***ing up this family,’ and she claimed he punched the ceiling of the airplane four times.

Later that month, his daughter Shiloh filed a legal request to drop his last name from her own name after she turned 18.

In May, a source close to the Oscar winner told DailyMail.com that he hopes to ‘rekindle’ his relationship with his children, and they claimed their bond was ‘broken by the divorce.’
The source also accused Jolie of ensuring that their children had ‘limited involvement’ with their father.
