Shocking footage has emerged of a 15-year-old teen allegedly being kicked and punched in the face by another girl in a random attack.
The distressing scenes unfolded in a library car park on Boyne Island in the Gladstone region in central Queensland last Saturday.
In the video obtained by the Courier Mail, a blonde girl is seen sitting on the ground with a bigger girl standing over her.
The alleged attacker pulled the teen’s hair while repeatedly kicking and punching the victim cowering on the ground.
The alleged aggressor was then heard telling the victim to get up.
‘No, I just want to go home,’ the terrified girl cried.
At least one onlooker was seen watching on as the altercation continued.
The victim was left blooded and bruised from the alleged attack and was taken to Gladstone Hospital suffering from facial injuries.
The alleged victim’s mother told the publication that her daughter didn’t know her alleged attacker.
Police will allege the teen was forced to hand over her phone which was later found smashed in nearby bushes.
Another teenage girl 15, was later arrested by police.
She has later charged with assaults occasioning bodily harm while armed/in company, stealing and wilful damage.
She will appear in Gladstone Children’s Court at a later date, where she will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
