A light plane with two people on board has crashed near a primary school shortly after takeoff.
The aircraft crashed into the trees near Terone Park on Garnet Street, at Bossley Park, in Sydney’s west, around 2.30pm on Thursday.
Paramedics rushed to the scene to and a spokesman for NSW Ambulance told Daily Mail the passengers refused to be taken to hospital.
It is understood they did not suffer any major injuries.
The park is located near the Mary Immaculate Catholic Primary School.
The plane is understood to have taken off from Bankstown Airport at 2.23pm before it crashed around five minutes later according to Flight Aware.
Daily Mail has contacted NSW Police for comment.
