A car enthusiast allegedly keyed a shiny new Tesla in broad daylight, with the incident captured on the electric vehicle’s security camera.
Raymond Edwards, 70, was allegedly seen walking through a car park at the Brookside Shopping Centre in Mitchelton, inner-north Brisbane, before pulling out his keys.
Footage allegedly shows Edwards weaving through parked cars before appearing to scrape a white BMW and the Tesla.

Brookside Shopping Centre manager Greg Plawecki told 7News he was shocked by the strange alleged incident.
‘It is very disappointing, I cant believe that it happened,’ Mr Plawecki said.
The owner of the Tesla said he been quoted $2,000 for repair work and added he was devastated about the alleged incident.
Queensland Police have charged Edwards with two counts of wilful damage in two incidents.
The 70-year-old appears to be an avid car enthusiast and had posted selfies on Facebook of himself at Bathurst alongside luxury vehicles and racecars.
He is due to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on December 11.
