A body positive influencer revealed on Saturday the hard and ‘incredibly stressful’ truth about running her bikini business Moana Bikini.
Karina Irby took to Instagram to share images from behind the scenes of her latest photo shoot when she confessed what it was really like owning her own company.
The fashion designer said after 10 years of running the business, she sometimes needs to take a sleeping pill just to rest, but wouldn’t have it any other way.
‘I started my company over 10 years ago and I’ve never once looked back! Every day I get to do this! “Work,”‘ she captioned a picture of her posing with one of her models.
‘Don’t get me wrong… It’s incredibly stressful, non stop and some nights I need a sleeping pill just to stop my brain from thinking.
‘But I also get to work alongside the most amazing people who all share the same passion as me.
‘Which is to create a space for women to feel comfortable not only in their skin but also in a community that understands them and has their back.’
Karina went on to say her most recent studio shoot promoting the latest in her colourful line of bikinis was a ‘perfect reminder’ of how ‘fortunate’ she is.

‘I may not have all the answers, and there are definitely challenges along the way, but I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything,’ she continued.
‘I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of women, even in the smallest of ways.
‘So here’s to many more years of hard work, passion, and creating a supportive community for women everywhere. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.’
The reel Karina shared included photos of the influencer posing with women who were modelling her newest bathing suits.
