‘I firmly believe that mobile coffee ordering has just gone a little too far and there’s a specific phenomenon that grinds my gears more than no other when it comes to mobile coffee ordering,’ she said.

She explained that the people who ordered from their phone while in store and just expect their order to be ready immediately frustrated her.

‘It’s the people that come into the store and stand in front at the register with their phones and are like, “I’m ordering on the app.”‘

Haley then recalled an irritating story of a customer who ordered ahead.

The content creator and barista revealed that a customer came into the coffee shop and placed an order for black coffee on his phone and showed Haley.

After picking it up, he came back an hour later and complained that the coffee had become ‘warm.’

Haley explained that she wanted to avoid an argument, and so she just gave the customer a new drink and he went on his way.

‘It was warm because you came an hour ago. Of course it wasn’t hot anymore, it was old coffee,’ she added.
