alert-–-billie-eilish-clutches-her-golden-globe-as-she-celebrates-her-win-by-dancing-in-the-street-with-pal-andrew-scottAlert – Billie Eilish clutches her Golden Globe as she celebrates her win by dancing in the street with pal Andrew Scott

Billie Eilish and Andrew Scott danced the night away after the Golden Globes on Sunday night.

The singer, 22, and actor, 47, showed off some moves in the middle of the street after celebrating Billie’s win at Spago Restaurant in Los Angeles.

Andrew laughed as he twirled Billie, who was clutching her gong, before the giddy pair skipped hand in hand across the street.

A member of their security team was seen gently guiding the happy duo to their car as they giggled their way across the road.

All of Us Strangers star Andrew didn’t seem to let his loss in the Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama category bother him, beaming as he celebrated his friend’s big win.

Billie accepted the Best Original Song prize for What Was I Made For? from the Barbie soundtrack during Sunday’s glittering ceremony at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The acclaimed singer songwriter credited her Barbie song for having ‘saved me a little bit’ during an especially difficult time.

The bad guy hitmaker and her brother, co-writer Finneas O’Connell, accepted the prize and the 22-year-old star reflected on how she was feeling low when she first saw the movie and was asked to be part of the project.

Taking to the stage alongside her sibling, Billie said: ‘Thank you so much to the Golden Globes, I was not expecting this in this moment.

‘Thank you to my brother Finneas, you’re the reason I am who I am.

‘I wanna thank Greta and Noah for making this incredible film, I want to thank Margot for being the Margot we know and love I want to thank Mattel, and Interscope, my label, and Dark Room, and my incredible team, my managers and my mom. My mom, and my dad, and my brother again.

‘It was exactly a year ago almost that we were shown the movie I was very, very miserable and depressed at the time. And writing that song kind of saved me a little bit.

A year later, and here we are, and it’s really surreal. I feel incredibly, incredibly lucky and grateful.’

Billie admitted the honour ‘means the world’ to her but she couldn’t help but feel nervous around the assembled Hollywood royalty at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

She added: ‘You guys scare the living hell out of me, everyone in this room.

‘Thank you so much, this means the world.’

This isn’t the first Golden Globe Billie has won – in 2021 she was awarded Best Original Song for her track No Time To Die.

Emma Stone, Oppenheimer and Succession were the big winners at Sunday night’s 81st Golden Globes.

Emma triumphed as she earned Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for Poor Things and also led the film to top honor Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.
