They say hell hath no fury like a woman scorned – but it appears the fury can be quelled when you throw in a $4.8million house on Nantucket.
At least such may be the case for Bill Belichick’s ex-girlfriend Linda Holliday, who has recently moved into the NFL legend’s newly-purchased island home more than a year after their split and as his new relationship with a 23-year-old cheerleader heats up, DailyMail.com can reveal.
The couple were together for 16 years, with Holliday, 61, seen supporting the former New England Patriots head coach from the sidelines throughout the seasons as well as serving as the executive director of his foundation.
However, the pair called it quits on the longtime romance in late 2022 – more than a year after Belichick, 72, met his current, much younger girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, on a plane to Boston.
Belichick and Hudson – who is 49 years his junior – exchanged numbers on the flight where the football coach even wrote the then-college student a message in her philosophy book, and the two became close.

His breakup with Holliday would eventually make headlines in September 2023, with sources claiming that they were suffering from a ‘long drawn out break up’.
Those close to the former couple, who share a dog named Nike, claimed that part of the bitter breakup was that Holliday had fallen in love with Nantucket and had no intention of leaving.
Now, DailyMail.com can reveal that she not only remains on the idyllic Massachusetts island, she is also living in a lavish, brand new four-bedroom and four-bath property near its cobbled main street that her ex purchased in May.
The home had been on the market for only 14 days.
Renovations for the new pad started in June, with Belichick’s former flame moving in by the end of the month.

An LLC registered to Belichick bought the property in May, with Holliday moving into the home in late June after renovations got started.
When asked on Monday about moving into a new home purchased by her ex, Holliday told DailyMail.com that there was ‘nothing to say’.
‘You don’t even know if you have the facts,’ she added.
‘There is nothing to say, I am not part of this story. I’m not any part of this.
‘You know what the attorney filed. Anybody can view a document it doesn’t mean that it’s factual. I can’t validate that.’

Bill was a part of the girls lives for 16 years, and the media-shy coach even spoke to local publication N Magazine with Holliday in 2017 about their shared love of the island.
He told the magazine: ‘The island is spectacular. The people are great, fishing, bike paths, the lighthouses, the beach, the history — I mean it’s got it all.
‘The baked goods there are pretty hard to resist, especially their muffins or cookies.’
Holliday added: ‘This is where everybody flocks home. No matter what everybody is doing during their busy lives, Nantucket is where family comes together as a unit again.

Annual reports for The Hess Twins LLC from 2023 also show that their business is still run from Belichicks’ $1.9million home in Hingham, near Boston despite the split.
Both of the twins have been spending time on the Island, with Ashley posting on her Instagram that she lives in West Palm Beach and Nantucket.
The pair were spotted earlier this week on the driving range at a Nantucket Golf course, before being joined by a friend for a mini-break, exclusive DailyMail.com photos show.
The former TV presenter grinned while running to the recycling plant with their dog Nike and has been boozing at the local brewery with her two daughters before hitting the paddle courts.
She cut a happy figure, smiling and chatting with friends, going out for cocktails and enjoying the summer at her new pad – with packages being delivered to the property daily.

The May-December couple spent July 4 together on the island and were first pictured together leaving his boat in early June, DailyMail.com previously revealed.
Neither Belichick nor Holliday have publicly commented on their split, with Jordon and the former coach also keeping details of their relationship under wraps.
While the details of the split are unclear, Holliday is yet to remove posts of Belichick from her Instagram, leaving photos of them dancing together, dining in the Hamptons and mingling with NFL greats with the hashtag ‘My Guy’.
A previous report by People said the two ‘have issues to clear up that come from a long relationship as well as her role in his professional life.’
Holliday is still listed as working for Belichick’s foundation on the website, which names her as President and credits her for the creation in 2013.
