Big Brother finalist Nathan King has revealed he’s won over her his girlfriend Rosie Williams’ parents, after the pair found love on the ITV show.

Despite accusations that their relationship was little more than a ‘showmance,’ the pork salesman, 24, fell for the dental assistant, 29, also known as Baked Potato, just days after they entered the famous house last month.

While Nathan and Rosie attempted to keep their romance under wraps, originally planning a post-series date during a fire evacuation, the truth eventually came out, and viewers saw them grow closer as the weeks developed.

After making things official in the house, Rosie, who was nicknamed ‘Baked Tattie’ by her boyfriend Nathan, was torn away from him when she was evicted just five days before the final, and the pair were reunited on Friday following the series conclusion.

Now, Nathan has told that just two days after the series ended, he’s already travelled to her home in Cornwall to meet her family, and this week they’re jetting off to Tenerife for a holiday together.

He also revealed that despite Rosie’s concerns that his political views would clash with her left-wing parents, he’s already won them over.

He said: ‘It has been strange getting back to reality, but a different reality now because obviously I’m down here with Rosie, we’ll go with Rosie now, not Baked Tattie.

‘It’s lovely, it’s been really nice. For that to have happened in there as well, was just so not even anywhere near in my thought process of what might happen.

‘But, I’m so bloody glad it did, I’ve found someone that without a doubt, I do love so much. I’m so happy she makes me happy, and that’s a great thing.’

Asked how it felt reuniting with Rosie at the live final, where Nathan finished in fifth place behind series champion Ali Bromley, he added: ‘Yeah it was lovely to see her.

‘Obviously, we saw each other at the after party on Friday, which is really nice. We spoke and then I came down yesterday on the train, I met her Mum and Dad which was really nice, they’ve been really kind to me, and it’s been great. It is so strange, and that’s what I said about being in there, it’s just mad.

‘We’ve known each other for five or six weeks, but we clearly have fallen in love which is amazing, I’m so happy.

‘We’ve actually just booked, we’re going away tomorrow to Tenerife for a few nights to get a bit of a tan, because we’re both really pale, we’ve not seen sunlight in weeks.

‘We need a good tan, and yeah it’ll be lovely, it really will be, it will be nice. She makes me happy, she makes me laugh. And yeah, she’s an amazing person as well.’

Following their respective exits, both Nathan and Rosie have shut down any claims their relationship was a ‘showmance,’ with the latter saying on Late and Live: ‘That’s literally a knat’s b******s, like I don’t mind that at all. I know it’s genuine.

‘I was just worrying because I wanted to make sure I was being respectful to the housemates, I don’t want to be a real over-the-top, and then I know my Dad’s watching and I thought he’d like hand me my a*s, so I probably came across as quite awkward.

‘I know that was in an artifical environment, that was probably the realest thing,’ before adding that she ‘loved him.’

Nathan echoed that sentiment during his own post-eviction interview, describing Rosie’s eviction as his ‘hardest moment,’ in the house, and saying any ideas their relationship was a ‘showmance’ are ‘the most false thing he’s heard.’

While Nathan said he’s yet to decide on his post-Big Brother career plans, he and Rosie are hoping to start a podcast with their fellow housemates Emma Morgan and Sarah Griffiths.

Emma and Nathan formed a close friendship during their time on the show, leaving viewers in hysterics with their naughty jokes and savage quips.

He added: ‘I love Emma also, Emma is the funniest person I’ve ever met.

‘We did this thing, I don’t know if it was shown, but you had to make the person opposite you laugh, and honestly, Emma just turned away and turned round, looked at me and I was in tears!

‘Everytime I just look at her she makes me laugh. I’m so glad I met Emma as well she’s just an amazing person.’

On his post-show plans, he added: ‘I’ve spoken about it with Rosie the last couple of days, and I don’t know! I don’t know what I’m going to do, I’m not much of a planner anyway, I’m not much of a long-term thinker, I just kind of do things and then see what happens.

‘I love Rosie for that as well, so we’re just gonna take it as it comes, I have no idea what path I’m going to go down, no idea what I’m gonna do, but just see what happens, and I think that’s a good way to be.

‘I’ve loved the last six weeks, and let’s see what happens from here on in.’
