President Joe Biden faced yet another blow Sunday with a new poll showing him losing to Donald Trump in the 2024 general election.
A new NBC News poll released on Sunday shows 46 percent of registered voters would vote for Trump in 2024 compared to the 44 percent who said they would cast their ballot for the current president.
In September, the same polling showed the men tied at 46 percent each.
Additionally, in June, Biden was narrowly ahead of Trump by 4 points – 49 percent to 45 percent.
The results Sunday are the first time the poll has shown Trump ahead of Biden.

The latest comes after a New York Times poll taken late October through early November showed Trump beating Biden in five of the six battleground states key to winning the 2024 election.
As polling filters in, Biden is coming off of his participation in the annual Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in San Francisco, where he met with Chinese President Xi Jinping amid rising tensions with the communist nation.
Biden’s polling continues to flail amid a series of disasters, including increased economic decline and the prevailing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
The President has faced immense criticism from pro-Palestine Democrats upset over his continued support of Israel in its counterstrikes against Hamas terrorists operating in Palestinian stronghold of Gaza.
He also faced criticism for a swanky dinner featuring Xi as the ‘guest of honor’ just hours after the President called him a dictator.
The NBC News poll also shows Biden at an all-time-low approval rating of 40 percent, which is a one-point decline from September.
