The 35-year-old singer received the unwanted criticism about her body during an Instagram Live on Tuesday night.
‘Someone said, “I look like Marilyn Monroe after she ate Lizzo,”‘ she told a shocked pal offscreen after spotting the gibe in the comment section of her IG Live.
The clip of Rexha’s reaction quickly went viral and she responded on Thursday in a heavily-filtered, follow-up video on TikTok.
She insisted to fans that she was ‘unbothered’ by the online ordeal while acknowledging that she has ‘gained weight.’
Rexha also said that she feels ‘stronger than ever’ and doesn’t want ‘anyone to feel bad for’ her.

Rexha also made clear in the caption of her TikTok post that being compared to Lizzo is not an insult to her.
