Barron Trump was shadowed by Secret Service, attended classes under an alias and was subject to a total social media blackout to keep the 6-foot-9 student safe throughout high school, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.

Agents tailed the youngest son of former President Donald Trump and first lady Melania around campus, stood guard outside his classroom and even escorted him to the bathroom at exclusive Oxbridge Academy.

Staff and students knew their young pal as Barron but he was registered under the name Jack in school records and computers to thwart attempts to hack his personal data or disclose his grades.

The extraordinary measure was part of a top-secret security effort to protect the Trump scion’s privacy and shield him from harm during his three years at the elite private school in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Former classmates – many from wealthy, Republican-backing families – remember Barron as a charming, impeccably behaved student who raved about soccer and enjoyed the video game Clash of Clans.

But they also considered the handsome 18-year-old scholar something of an enigma because he didn’t participate in sports, attend parties or eat his meals with the rest of the school.

At the request of his fiercely-protective mom Melania, Barron was also forbidden from appearing in social media posts and was the only student to go without a single mention in the academy’s Resonate yearbook.

‘Barron was very funny and sociable. He would start the most random conversations and could be very entertaining,’ a friend told DailyMail.com.

‘He was also very mysterious. He never attended football games or dances. I don’t think he met up with anyone outside of school or went on dates.

‘If he had a girlfriend, it was top secret we never knew about it.

‘I’m sure he had fun in his own way but it was a bit of a shame that he didn’t get to have a normal high school life like everyone else.’

Oxbridge was founded in 2011 by billionaire William Koch, the brother of GOP mega-donors Charles and David Koch, catering for grades six through 12.

Barron enrolled there in 2021 when his parents moved fulltime to Mar-a-Lago, their swish, members-only club in nearby Palm Beach.

Virtually nothing was reported about his presence there, in part because staff at the $41,500 per-year school are required to sign NDAs.

Oxbridge was thrust into the spotlight, however, when Donald Trump took a leave of absence from his hush money trial to travel to Florida on May 17 to see his son graduate.

The ceremony took place behind a ring of steel with guests screened with metal detectors and Secret Service snipers perched high above the bleachers.

None of this was especially unsettling for the 120 or so Class of ’24 graduates who had grown accustomed to Barron’s ever-present armed security.

Barron completed around half of his work online, according to a friend.

But when he did attend school in person, his Secret Service SUV would typically pull in at around 8:30am, just as the lobby was emptying and lessons starting.

Everyone called him Barron but classmates would chuckle on the rare occasion that a substitute teacher would instead read out the name Jack at morning attendance.

DailyMail.com has agreed not to disclose the full alias.

‘He had multiple agents who would rotate throughout the day and there was always one with him wherever he needed to go,’ the friend explained.

‘The agents would stand right outside the door during class. If he went to the bathroom they would go with him and wait outside.’

When a 911 incident at a nearby Publix supermarket temporarily sent the school into lockdown, an agent is said to have burst into class to bundle Barron to safety until the threat receded.

For the most part, however, the former First Son’s lessons were completely routine and he never messed around or got into trouble, added the friend.

‘A lot of parents had concerns that the school could become a target when they heard he was coming to Oxbridge,’ the friend said.

‘It was a really big deal when he arrived and everyone wanted to get to know him. But after a while it became normalized. The kids barely took any notice of the Secret Service.’

Though small by Florida standards, Oxbridge has 24 varsity teams, equestrian and sailing programs and an aviation school with a full-motion flight simulator.

The school boasts that 100 percent of its students have been accepted into four-year colleges and universities, with graduates winning places at Cornell, UCLA, Vanderbilt and Howard University.

According to our insider, Barron ‘dabbled in aviation’ and excelled at science.

He did a combination of honors and honors seminar classes, the most academically rigorous lessons offered by the school.

He wore the same uniform – typically navy pants, a red or white polo and a sweater – as everyone else but at 6ft 7in was taller than any of his classmates or teachers.

Lunch time would see Barron and his pals congregating in the school cafeteria where the other students would dine on fancy cuisine more akin to high-end restaurant fare.

‘It was buffet style. They had American food, Asian and Indian food. There was a salad bar, a fruit bar, on special holidays they would serve steak,’ the friend said.

‘Barron always went to the lunchroom to sit with his friends but he never ate any lunch. He never specifically said why, just that he would wait until he got home to eat.

‘It was a little unusual.’

If Barron did have much of a social life, the friend observed, it was independent of school and seemed to include very few of his peers.

There was a flutter of media interest when he was supposedly pictured in the background at a swank Monte Carlo-themed dance in April.

‘It was a case of mistaken identity. His parents wanted him kept off of social media. He wasn’t in the yearbook at all,’ the friend revealed.

‘I believe there was a football banquet hosted by Mar-a-Lago but I don’t think he came downstairs or socialized with anyone.

‘I do think everyone will be proud that they went to school with Barron. A lot of the students consider themselves Republicans and everyone was super excited when Trump showed up for the graduation.’

Barron, Melania’s only child, was born the year after their 2005 wedding. He spent his early childhood in New York, attending various prestigious private schools.

Before relocating to Washington, D.C. Barron took his entire class from Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School on a tour of the White House in 2017, the year his father took office.

He subsequently attended St. Andrew Episcopal School in Maryland, played for D.C. United’s under 12 team soccer team, and met the franchise’s biggest star, former England striker Wayne Rooney.

Melania fiercely protected her son’s privacy and made sure he stayed out of the limelight during and after the Trump Presidency.

But over the course of his late teens Barron has quietly blossomed into an engaging young man who has leading conservatives purring over his charm and political acumen, DailyMail.com previously reported.

In May he hosted the Iranian-American business mogul and podcaster Patrick Bet-David at a swank Mar-a-Lago dinner.

Bet-David, worth an estimated $450 million, was impressed enough to tell listeners of his PDB podcast afterwards that his young host was ‘sharp, funny, sarcastic, tough – not weak.’

Barron appeared at a Trump campaign rally on July 9 in Miami where he looked anything but a political novice as he mirrored his dad’s iconic fist pump and lapped up a standing ovation.

He was not present four days later when gunman Thomas Crooks tried to assassinate Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania and did not make an appearance at the Republican National Convention.

But he did get a shoutout from his father during his July 18 when the GOP Presidential candidate told applauding convention-goers: ‘We love our Barron.’

Trump has said publicly that Barron will attend college in the fall – but he hasn’t said where.
