Former Hi-5 star Casey Burgess has welcomed her first child with husband Matt Meffan after undergoing an emergency c-section.
The n performer, 36, made the announcement on her social media on Wednesday and confirmed her newborn was a son.
The new mum shared a touching maternity ward photo in which the proud dad can be seen posing alongside Casey soon after their baby was delivered.
Casey also announced their son’s adorable name – Billy James Meffan.
The pop singer also shared the same image of her newborn to her stories and added the caption: ‘What legends!!! Go Billy!!!’ So proud.’
In her post, Casey added: ‘Our hearts are bursting – after a long and insane ride with an emergency c-section to finish off the day we have a perfect little man who we can’t stop staring at.

‘Thank you for all of the beautiful messages. Best day of our lives,’ she concluded, signing the message with two kisses.
Many of Casey’s celebrity friends took to the comment section to offer their well wishes.
‘Yessssss! No better feeling in the world. Do so happy for you and your fam,’ gushed Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac.
‘Oh darling!! Thrilled for you guys!! How bloody wonderful!! Congratulations to you both,’ added Home and Away star Lynne McGranger.
It comes after Casey announced her engagement to Matt Meffen in July 2022 after one-and-a half years of dating.
She shared a series of photos to Instagram after Matt proposed to her in front of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
‘FIANCÉ !!!!!! I love you @mattmeffan,’ Casey captioned the images.
Casey added she was going to travel to Paris with her fiancé to choose a ring.

‘He surprised me with a ticket to Paris, we’re going in three weeks to go ring shopping,’ she said.
‘I have no idea what kind of ring I want, I am just excited to shop for one together.’
She went on to say: ‘We met during COVID so haven’t had the chance until now to travel together, I’m so excited I can’t wait.’
The pair later tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in 2023.
The couple, who met on a dating app, recently moved into their first home together.
Casey found fame in 2008 when she joined children’s entertainment group Hi-5.
After leaving the group in 2013, she pursued a solo singing and acting career.
She released her first album, called Space to Breathe, in October 2022.
The Sydney-born entertainer is the daughter of n music legend and former Countdown presenter Ray Burgess.
